Chapter 96 Enforced Breaks and Surprise Visits

The whole gym idea kind of went out the window. We worked all day Friday excluding Trott's a little... what ever happened. Saturday we excitement trying to get somewhere with some of these trailers. We sat storyboarding on the floor with paper everywhere with various doodles and sprawls, we were trying trying to find a way to showcase the new texture packs and patches in the best way possible. The whole attic had become a an extension of our office. There were bottles of beer and water on most surfaces, blankets were on chairs from the late, cold nights and we all looked terrible. Kim and Katie would come up every now and then making sure that we were still alive supplying us with food since we had forgotten that it was vital to our existence.

Sunday was spent trying to put together what we had made a mess of and try to put it into minecraft. I was given the task of being cameraman since my lack of sleep bad rendered me useless for anything else and the guys did everything. This whole process, for one trailer that was probably that easiest of the many we had to do we worked from 10am to 4pm when Katie forced us to take a break. We all came down and sat in the dining room. In the actual day light you could see how ill we all looked and you could see why Katie and Kim were concerned. 'Please, no more today, you all need some down time.' Kim said sitting on Ross' knee running her fingers through his hair. 'Not the worst idea.' I said looking at Smith hoping that we could call it a day. Smith looked back at me and nodded, 'ok, no more today.' he said leaning his head on mine.

I went up stairs for a shower which I think was much needed since it was another human thing we had forgotten to do. I came out with a towel around me, 'Bloody hell.' I jumped, 'you scared the crap out of me.' I said realising Smith was looking in the wardrobe, 'sorry.' he said. I dried myself off and changed into my onesie and laid flat on the bed with my head in my pillow. 'You alright?' Smith asked sitting in the bed running my back. 'I need to talk to my mum about going to Texas at some point.' I told him. 'Yeah I should probably let my family my family know too.' he said I rolled over to face him. 'We should go and see your family.' I suggested, he shrugged his shoulders and looked down, 'I don't know.' He mumbled, 'we haven't seen them in a while, and I have never met your sister.' I said and Smith laid down 'I don't know, it's hard after mum.' he said and I sat up and looked down at him. 'When your ready, no sooner.' I said before kissing him and resting my head on his chest.

We both walked downstairs and into the kitchen and Trott and Kim were both sat at the dining room table both on tablets. 'Do we want to know what you two have been up to?' Trott asked as we walked in, Kim briefly looked up at us, 'they haven't got the look. She was right, Smith and I did act differently after.... you know. 'Changing the topic.' I tried to start, 'what form your and Smith's...' Smith cut Trott off, 'Mate. Just don't.' Smith warned. 'Anyways changing the topic what's everyone doing now?' I asked looking at the clock in the oven, it was only 5pm. 'Well Kim and I are playing g hearthstone and Ross, Katie and your mum are in the living room.' Trott said not looking up from his tablet. 'My mum?' I exclaimed and rushed into the living room.

Low and behold Katie, Ross and my mum were all sat on the sofa chatting. 'There you both are.' She said as Smith and I walked in. 'Hey, I doesn't know you were coming over.' I said walking over and giving her a hug. 'well I was on my payback for work and I thought I would stop by, Ross tells me that you are off to Texas for work.' she said sitting back down, 'yeah next weekend.' I told her, 'were you going to tell me?' she asked and suddenly everything became far more awkward than it already was. 'I was yeah of course.' I folded my arms. 'so you weren't going to ask, but tell me.' she doing limestone idea one bit. 'I am 19 you know.' and she stood back up, 'I am your mother.' she retaliated, 'correct you are my mother, and I am going to Texas.' I told her. 'You were always were stubborn.' she said shaking her head. 'I was always stubborn? What for the seven years that you knew me.' I said now getting upset. 'I think it's time I left', she said picking up her bag and walking past me.

After Smith had shown her out and the front door had closed I flopped down on the sofa next to Ross 'what the hell was all that about?' he asked confused like everyone else. 'That was out of order, she got you all emotional and angry and then just left.' Katie said sounding applaud. Smith walked back in and knelt down in front of me, 'you ok?' he asked, 'why does she do this, she makes a scene every opportunity she gets.' I said, 'she probably is just trying to be a mum again, and that means for her controlling what you you do.' Ross suggested. 'I am going up stairs.' I said getting up. 'You want me to come with you?' Smith asked standing up, 'I want to be alone.' I said as I started to cry.
