Fletch wondered if he'd done the right thing as he walked away from Jac's office. Taking the coffee in had been the first non accidental or non work related contact they had had since he acknowledged to himself how he felt about her but then he went into typical Fletch mode and went to the aid of a damsel in distress. Well , Jac being furious and stuck for a solution.
Would he have done the same for anyone or just Jac? It was in his nature but it felt good being able to save her, maybe she was letting her guard down a bit more. Jac is normally so independent and self sufficient that he felt privileged to be allowed in.
He spent the rest of the day with something of a spring in his step. Maybe just maybe...
