Jac had never experienced chaotic family life like this. She loved it and she realised she loved him. Best to keep that information secret for the time being. She didn't know how deeply he felt for her.
The next morning on the premise of making breakfast, she and Fletch shared glances and gentle brushes against each other in the kitchen.
" I wish I could kiss you right now" whispered Fletch
"We agreed"Jac reminded him. "I know, I know, I'm sorry" said Fletch " I just can't believe this has finally happened. Happy?"
Jac considered her answer and nodded "happy" she quickly touched his hand "scared to death but happy"
The day was spent at the park until Emma and Jac went home. Sitting alone at home that night Jac missed Fletch. "What have I done" she said to herself but couldn't ignore the happiness bubbling up inside.
He texted 'goodnight sexy ice queen'
She smiled to herself -maybe not quite as icy now
