Jac smiled at the young girl feeling protective of her father. They had all been through a lot- mum and Dad divorcing, losing their mum, being effectively homeless and living in the hospital basement and finally losing uncle raf. Jac guessed she just needed to know there would be someone around who wouldn't leave
" we were supposed to tell you all later when he gets home" whispered Jac
Evie grinned widely "so you said yes" she exclaimed excitedly . Jac nodded. Evie hugged Jac which was something she'd never done before. Jac relished this feeling of belonging and was shocked to realise there was a tear in her eye. "Can we wait to tell the others when he gets here" asked Jac
"Of course" Evie smiled. She liked Jac and liked Jac and her dad together
"I need to have a talk to Emma - she's the only one who hasn't been asked yet. She'll be fine with it tho she's loves it here"
"We love her too"
"Thanks Evie. Can you manage in here while I see her?"
"I'm fine"
Jac went to get her daughter.
"Emma you like it here st Fletch's don't you"
" I like playing with Ella and Theo. Fletch is funny he makes me laugh"
"How would you like it if we lived here all the time? You would have share a bunk bed with Ella"
"Erm" Emma thought "I would like that mummy. Can I go and watch Peppa Pig now " Jac kissed the top of her head overwhelmed with love for her daughter
About half an hour later Fletch came in holding a huge bunch of white roses and bags of haribo.
Jac met him at the door with a lingering kiss
