"Those who benefit from unearned privilege are too often quick to discount those who don't."
DaShanne Stokes

Yesterday Boris took me to this really beautiful field of grass. It was right next to a forest. The grass was Long enough to reach your knees on some parts but short enough to reach the brim of your ankles in the others.
Boris took my hand and intertwined or fingers and begun to run through the field with me, he was fast but I was able to keep up. He let my hand go after running for awhile and continued running. I followed behind him. We both were laughing but also almost out of breath. Boris and I ran until we got to a field that had short grass everywhere but almost seemed never ending. Many Telephone poles were perfectly aligned and ran down that never ending path. I stared down the path my eyes scanning to try and find where the path ended. I couldn't seem to see it. Boris put his firm hands on both of my shoulders and turned my body to face his. I looked at his his face that had a smirk on it. He moved his left foot backwards on the grass behind him slowly and put one arm across my back and slowly dipped me backwards. I smiled, the arm across my back slowly lifting me back up onto my feet. Trying to find a rhythm, my body moving in sync with Boris's as we danced across the field i was ignoring the itchy grass scratching at my ankles. Both of us were breathing heavily but continued dancing. Our hands on one another to keep our body's balanced. I would feel the wind on my face as my body fell, before Boris caught my body in his arms and helped me back up, lifting my right arm up and letting me twirl around next to his body. His hands then moved to my hips, trying to find a way to move our bodies in a different way. I'd slowly spin until my back was against Boris's chest. I'd laugh and Boris would release me from his arms, both of us breathing a bit heavy,
But we both decided to leave after a minute or so.
We both walked back. I got ahead of Boris. He signed something but I couldn't quite make it out. But we got home before dark which was nice. I gathered the materials to cook something so I was as well able to do that.

It was a great day. I never knew I could dance that well without feeling loud music's vibration under my feet.
Welp, I better get going.
