Flopping down onto his bed, he sighed. It has been about five days since he started searching in his fiancés' rooms, and each time, he came back empty-handed. There was nothing that belonged to Renjun. He had searched every little crevice and every little crack in the two rooms and found nothing.

Renjun felt confused, conflicted. His brows knitted together as he brought his right hand to his face, pinching the bridge of his nose.

The first time he had searched was the day Jeno and Jaemin had gone to Donghyuck's. Renjun not finding anything was understandable because the two must've brought the papers with them to ask Donghyuck for some translations, but the following four days didn't make any sense. His fiancés only went out to town to explore. They didn't go over to his cousin's place, but why then, did Renjun still not find anything? Was it because they found out about his snooping? It sure didn't make much sense, and he hated it.

Staring at the ceiling of his room, he wondered whether he should even try to search anymore. If Jeno and Jaemin wouldn't ever leave the papers in their rooms, what would be the point in even trying? At that point, it would be searching for something that doesn't exist.

He groaned and sat up with a jolt when his stomach made an angry sound toward him, demanding to be filled with nutrition. He'd been going through his fiancés' stuff for an entire day without eating breakfast or lunch.

Renjun looked at Xiao Yue, who stared back with wondering blue eyes, head tilted to the side, trying to understand what her friend was trying to telepathically transfer.

The prince chuckled at her reaction, patting her head with his hand. "Let's go. Time to eat food."

Her mouth dropped open, her tongue hanging out in excitement at the mention of food. She got up from the floor and followed the crown prince as he left to the door.

Opening his door, he called out to his eunuch, "Yinxi?"

No response was returned, only the sound of the warm breeze of dusk.

"Yinxi?" he called again.

This time a response came, but not from the person he called.

"Renjun, Eunuch Zhou isn't going to be working for a few days. I'll probably be taking his place until then." It was Qian Kun who jogged up to the prince. "Sorry for not telling you sooner," he smiled awkwardly.

"No worries, Kun-ge." Renjun looked behind the older, glancing around to see if his Eunuch was anywhere to be found. "What happened to Yinxi? Why isn't he working?"

Zhou Yinxi had served as one of Renjun's personal assistants since he was very young, and never once had the eunuch not showed up nor was he not nearby when the young prince needed him.

"What I was told was that he had caught a high fever from one of the servants and didn't want to sicken you, so he will be staying in his room for some time."

"Oh," he nodded, "I understand. When you get a chance, tell him to get better for me, please?"

"Of course. I'm sure he will be healing much faster when hearing those words from you, Your Royal Highness," Kun teased, bowing down to his knee.

Renjun rolled his eyes playfully. "Shut up."

When the guard stood up, he asked, "what do you need? I can go get it for you."

"I just need you to deliver the food from the kitchen for both Xiao Yue and me."

"You didn't eat anything today, did you?" Kun raised a brow. He suspected something when he realized that throughout the entire day, Renjun didn't go near the kitchen nor did he send anyone there.
