58:On the Run

Megatron decided to take me more seriously after I told him that my internals are dissolving. so I'm waiting for him to ground bridge.

Finally he popped up. "What the frag happened to your faceplate?" He asked and walked over as I coughed up some more stuff.

"It hurts." I groaned and fell to my side. He looked down at me and made an expression that said, no shit sherlock, clear as day.

He took one of my arms and slung it around himself, lifting me up. "If I cough up on you, sorry." I told him.

This was by far the most uncomfortable pain I was ever in. He tried walking with me, "Ow, ow, ow." I said with every step as we walked to a ground bridge.

I went into stasis lock.

I woke up on a berth, in the medbay. The doc wasn't here, I checked with Egg. I think she was sleeping. Suddenly the doors opened and Megatron came in with Knockout. Oh dear.

"Ah you're up." Knockout clapped his servos together and Megs looked over to me.

"What yoou give mee?" I asked as I quickly realized stuff wasn't working.

"Just some stuff to kill the pain." He explained and Breakdown came in and walked over to a monitor.

"His internals?" Megatron questioned.

"I got the chemicals out of his systems so it won't get worse." He said. "I've injected him with a large amount of Magnesium, that will get some more natural regrowth going." He said. I barley understood anything.

"So his internals will be fine over time?" Megs asked.

"With some time, a week of rest." Knockout shrugged. Well that's reassuring. "As for his faceplate-"

I felt over it, yuck.

"It will have to heal over for a bit before I put a replacement plate in." He said.

"Whyyy?" I slurred.

"It could damage it further, but once the new plate goes in, it should just merge with your other plating."

"It would grew together?" I asked and he nodded. "Good." I said and got up.

Megatron pushed me back down. "OWW!" I yelped.

"You need rest." He said.

"How loong?" I asked and KO opened his intake, "Mininimum." I added.

He sighed, "At least for the night, and then, very little movement." He said. "Slow movement." He added.

Oh dear. This is gonna be a long night.

Or the same length as the other nights as they were all the same length. Logical. I waited till Megatron left, then I made my move. I moved to get up but Breakdown pushed me back in the berth.

"Aww." I whined.

"Knockout." Breakdown called and the red medic peeked his helm in the room.

"Yes?" He asked.

"He's not gonna stay put." He told him.

"Yes me am." I lied.

Knockout smirked and got a syringe ready, I don't like those, I shoot it a glare. Breakdown followed my glare and held my arms to my sides. I let out a squeak of protest before he injected the stuff into me.

I woke up, again. I'm having very little spark terrors recently. That's good. I checked my internal clock and noticed that it was already morning, so I slept for the night.

That's nice.

I looked around, no one was here. Egg? I asked.

I laid an egg in you, are you feeling better? She asked.

Still sore, I need to look in a mirror. I told her as I felt my faceplate.

And feed me? She asked. Best skip the mirror bit, you'll have sparkterrors.

I shakily got up, "Yup."

I walked out of the medbay and peeked around the corner, no one was there. Yay!

I managed to sneak all the way to my berthroom, I took Egg and the egg out and gave her some energon.

Hide it in the medbay. She requested.

"You read my processor," I said and headed for the medbay.

This time I wasn't so lucky regarding stealth. I rounded a corner and crashed straight into Knockout and Megatron. They both raised an optic ridge.

I turned tail and ran, barley catching their words.

"Don't bother, " KO told Megs, "The pain killers will wear of and he'll come right back."

Yea right, I ended dropping the egg in the hallway and headed back to my berth room.

That was fast. Egg said through the sparkbond. Why'd you panic?

"You felt that?" I asked as I sat down on the berth, she nodded. I took a cube and drank. Ran into Knockout and Meg.

She nodded in understanding.

Suddenly I got a call, I picked up. "Yes?"

"I've got a question for you." It was Ratchet.

"Aha, go on."

"We came across a MECH base-" I spat out some energon.

What's wrong?

He's asking about our little adventure. I told her.

"We found burnt humans. We didn't do it, so what happened?" He asked.

"I didn't do it." I said truthfully.

"Then another 'con?" He asked.

You a 'con? I asked Egg, she nodded.

"Yup."

"What happened."

"No clue." I lied, "But they pumped me full of chemicals and those dissolved my internals." I told him and hung up.

I grinned at Egg and she grinned back.

Then I got another call. "Yup?"

"Are you alright? Ratchet told me-" Optimus started.

"Yup." I told him, "I'm a little sore but I'm on a lot of painkillers. Thanks for asking." I said.

"No problem- you aren't in the medbay are you?" He questioned.

"No." I told him.

"You should be resting!" He exclaimed.

I hung up, not gonna listen to that again. It's nice he cares through.

And who was that? Egg asked.

"Optimus." I said.

Your crush?

"What- No!" I lied.

Take your time dearie, don't force it. She went on as I glared at her.

Then the pain killers wore of and I fell to the floor. It hurts! I sifted sightly and pain overtook me. "I'm gonna call Megatron." I warned Egg and she hid behind the bin.

Help. I said through our sparkbond.

Where are you at? He asked back, he was clearly amused.

Berthroom. He better hurry up.
