187: Swapsies

I went to the first place I assumed where Sky or Gold was. The hanger. What was I even supposed to do? Overpower a chicken in a Predacon's frame? Fat chance!

I spotted him soon enough, and with how Predaking and Darksteel where chilling around him, they had no idea. Although once he spotted me...

"Hippity hoppity get of my property!" He danced, then transformed and shot fire at me.

"Ep!" I yelped and dove out of the way. He singed my shoulders. Sure, why not? It'll make me cuddlier if those melt.

"Gold!" I started.

"Gold?" Predaking asked and looked at Skylynx. "What did you do with Gold?"

Sky paused in his fiery huffs and transformed.

"Hah!" I yapped and pounced onto him, "Got you!" Then shrieked as Predaking peeled me off. Steel was giggling and Gold transformed again. "Oi!"

"What happened to Gold?" Pred asked, all serious.

"He's right-" Then Gold slapped me off the ship. Fragger. I flew back up with ease and went to fetch plan B. I found it soon enough, sitting on Soundwave's shoulder, "I need to borrow this-" I started and plucked Egg of his shoulder.

Laserbeak gave a squawk of protest and detached from Soundy to sit on her.

"I'm gonna take him too." I added and wondered off.

"Thief." Soundwave played back but did not pursue.

What's this about? Egg asked.

"Gold got his talons on the orb." I said.

Oh, don't you mean claws-

"Talons, Egg, talons." I repeated and she shrunk a little. Laserbeak was getting a little loud and it seemed Egg could barely answer him in time. We arrived in front of the door. "Ok, Beaky, you stay here-"

He squawked.

He wants to know why. Egg said.

"Well, when it comes to the authoritative department for the chicks, you're lagging behind." I said sweetly and put him down.

He didn't even bother protesting, he knows it's true.

So which one is it? Egg asked as the doors opened.

"Skylynx." I said and put her down. The Preds plus chicken were all wrestling.

Egg wondered up to them but was almost squashed, she squawked and huffed some fire, gaining all the Predacons (plus chick's) attention.

She could totally solo them.

"What's going on?" Predaking asked as Egg squawked at Skylynx.

"Gold swapped with Skylynx's frame."

"With the orb?" Predaking asked and scooted away from the chick-pred.

"Yep." I said and watched Egg get even more pissed. "He huffed fire at me." I added.

Egg= Pissed.

With every squawk Egg let off, Skylynx somehow managed to shrink. "Bro-"

"Don't 'bro' me!" -Egg (Probably, I don't speak chicken).

The whole thing ended up with two full grown Predacons trying to hide and Gold near tears. He finally let out a nod.

He's gonna cooperate. Egg told me and wondered up to me with Gold in tow.

"Lovely, let's find Optimus." I started and picked her up, "March chick." I started.

Gold shrunk down a little more and walked ahead. "OoOoooooh." He sulked. As we went back inside and collected Laserbeak.

We found Optimus soon enough, Wrestling a old frame that shouldn't even be able to put up that much of a fight.

Meanwhile, Zinc's frame was sitting on the floor doing some kind of boogie. At least he's having fun.

"Zinc!" Optimus screeched as Alpha Trion's frame wriggled free again. Then Optimus got a rather flexible kick to the faceplate.

"How you like that bro?" He started, pulling up his fists and hopping around, "You got a problem huh? Think you can take me?" He said and jumped a little more, "You think- Argk!" He shrieked as Optimus kicked his bearings.

Zinc's frame winced as Alpha Trion's frame collapsed.

"Lovely." I started and shoved Gold forward.

Optimus registered his cue and took out Gold's frame, set it down, shook the orb and had the rest of us take cover.

We took a peak when Alpha Trion groaned. "Was that really necessary?" He asked.

"I am very sorry-" Optimus started and picked up the orb as Egg walked up to both her chicks, who were now in the right frames.

She was angry AND disappointed. We watched Egg lecture them and Laserbeak nod in agreement. Alpha Trion would have joined in if his bearings weren't in dire need of care.

"I think I'll head to the medbay." He said and Optimus once again apologized.

"You could barely take care of him." I snorted as Trion waddled off as dignified as his bearings allowed.

"Pardon?"

"You were struggling, and I handled a Predacon." I jeered.

Optimus rolled his optics and Egg took this as her cue and squawked. "Apparently you were rather helpless if it weren't for Egg-"

"Traitor." I mumbled and she grinned at me evilly. There's no way chickens were created by Primus, this one definitely had some of Unicron in her. "Still, you could barely take Alpha Trion." I shot at Optimus.

He rolled his optics then brought his servo to his helm. "Yes?" He asked and rolled his optics again.

"What?" I asked as Egg marched away with the chicks.

"Smokescreen and Bumblebee convinced Jazz to-"

"Right, you need to take care of your own chicks." I grumbled, great, I was gonna be left alone to be bored. He walked off.

"Argh." I grumbled once he was out of audial shot. Ohhh, I had an idea!

I wondered of to my dear brother's room and unlocked the door with face recognition. Of course, when the door opened he was there. Act natural! "Sup fucker." I swallowed as he glared.

"How did you unlock-"

"Face recognition, duh." I shrugged.

"What do you want?" He asked as he got back to reading his datapad.

"Just-" Then I noticed a door I had never seen in here. Seriously? He had secret doors.

Meg noticed what I was looking at, "Just washracks-"

"You get personal washracks?" I shrieked and looked inside, of course they were pristine so I had to try them out.

"Yes?"

"Why?" I asked as I whizzed. "And why were you in the others if-"

"It was closer and this is my ship." Megatron grumbled as I came back out. "Why are you-"

"Airachnid pushed Starscream down the elevator shaft." I lied and he was gone in a jiffy.
