82: Fun Visit

I flew lower until I transformed and almost tripped up. Then a human shot at me with his little stick, it hit my ped. I raised a ridge as he stared in panic, another human slapped him across the back of the head and dragged him off.

Humans, such dorks.

What was that? Egg asked, it shut the chicks up for sure.

"A human gun." I told her.

We need one, it's like a silencer. She said.

"True, but it silences humans in a different way." I told her and slipped into the base.

Everyone was there, chilling. I wanna throw that helm at them. I Warned Egg and crouched behind a crate, none had noticed.

Ok. She giggled.

I reached in a pulled out the helm of my clone, then I had another idea. I looked over to Ratchet and snuck near him, crouched low.

Wow, everyone was on high alert (They weren't). Ratchet moved away from the console and moved into the medbay. So I put the helm on the console and hid.

When he came back, he went straight into stasis lock. And no one noticed. So a grabbed the helm, trying to hide my wheezes of laughter and threw it straight at Smokescreen who was chilling on some crates.

He let of a high pitched scream and also went into stasis lock, by then I'd lost it, I fell to the floor in a fit of giggles.

"That's where the helm went." Magnus muttered as he kicked it back over to me.

"Where did you get that?" Miko asked, "Megatron's dead?"

"Nah... I just... made a clone." I said between laughter.

Jack was covering Raf's eyes as I pocketed the helm.

Optimus was busy checking on Ratchet, Bee was getting ready to tease Smoke once he woke up and Alpha Trion was still recharging.

Wheeljack walked over to me. "Why did you make a clone?" He asked as Bulk and Arcee listened in.

"Guilt trip Megatron." I told him.

"Did it work?" Arcee asked.

"He went into stasis lock." I said proudly as Smoke woke up.

"Huh?" He asked and Bee started beeping frantically. He glared at me but I was more concerned for Ratchet's anger.

He was waking up and Optimus was slowly explaining to him. He glared at me while Op did so, I should keep a tally of how many times I can get him into stasis lock.

"Little scrap heap." He hissed as Optimus helped him up.

"Oh, I have news!" I called out quickly and got everyone's attention. Ratchet was still glaring.

I reached into my chassis and took Egg out.

"Oh, maybe we could ride it, like a horse." Miko jumped and ran over.

What does she mean, 'it'? Egg said and puffed out some fire in warning. Then the rest jumped out full of energy.

"These are her proud successors." I introduced them as they stared with their mouths and intakes open. Well, not Op and Ratchet. Ratchet just crouched down, plucked one up and started to check all was in order. Egg stared with her optics narrowed protectively, Optimus kept an optic on her encase she got too protective.

"Can we play with them?" Miko asked as she jumped up and down. Raf looked like he wanted to as well.

I looked over to Egg and she compared the sizes, the chicks were barely bigger.

I dunno. She said and eyed Ratchet.

"The humans are in more danger." I told her, "They're more chaotic than Miko." I added.

Fine. She huffed.

Miko almost committed suicide by jumping of the railing but Bulkhead caught her. Egg looked pissed that he did so.

Lets just say, everyone get involved with the chicks because they were nice. And not because they need every little second of attention.

Then we lost Gold. So everyone stayed and looked after the others while Bee Alpha Trion and I looked around (Alpha Trion was awoken by the chaos-I mean cuteness).

We looked outside as they weren't inside.

"Just so we know, how do we hold them?" Bee asked.

"Just don't suffocate them and they'll be fine." I told him as Alpha Trion trailed us.

"For our protection." Bee added.

"No idea." I shrugged and we looked high and low, mainly low.

"Found him." Alphy called out from behind us. We spun with dread and panic. Gold was playing with two very confused humans. They looked over two us awkwardly as we came over. Alpha Trion scooped Gold up and he melted into his servo.

"Thank you." He told the humans.

"For what?" They said and exchanged glances.

"Looking after him of course." He said and bade goodbye as we walked back so hanger E.

"You wanna be the sparkling sitter?" I asked Trion.

"Why not." He said with a smile and set Gold down next to Egg. She started scolding him While the other two pecked at him. Egg slapped them off.

"Maybe you should start discipline training." I told Egg.

She looked between her and the chicks and nodded.

And then, the chicks just dropped where they were standing. Ratchet jumped over in panic. "They're just recharging." I yelped at him before he accidently squishes one. He slowed down.

"They just dropped dead." He argued rather calmly.

Egg squawked at him and started rolling the chicks into a pile. They are recharging.

"She says that they are recharging." I folded my arms.

"Thank Primus." Almost everyone sighed.

What do they mean, 'thank Primus? Egg hissed aggressively and spat some fire at them all. They barely got out of the way.

"I think you need a little rest too." I told her, "You're in a bad mood." I added.

She huffed and sat on her chicks. Now everyone was really relieved and quiet.

Then Megatron called me. "Oh shit." I said and walked in the entrance direction.

"Where are you going?" Wheeljack asked.

"Yea? You just gonna leave us with them?" Smoke asked in panic and nodded to the Cyberchickens.

"Megatron's calling me." I told them, I hadn't picked up yet. I'd kept him waiting and I could feel the frustration through the sparkbond. I got outside the hanger and picked up.

"Yup?"

"Do I really have to ask?" He huffed.

I let my processor process the question.

"Where are you?"

"Oh!" Then I realized. "Earth." I said vaguely.

"Where on Earth?"

"Desert." I shouldn't really be narrowing this down.

"With the Autobots?" He said with a monotone.

"What? No." I said as Optimus came out, I tried to shoo him away, he stuck like a tree.

"You wouldn't mind me coming over then?" Oh I see what he was doing. I say no and he'll know I'm with the Autobots.

"Sure, come over." I said smugly, now he won't come. Optimus looked like I had gone crazy I waved him down.

"I'll be there in a moment." He said and hung up.
