81: Wider Family

We stopped after one round, Mainly because Predaking couldn't gather himself long enough not to laugh, but also because Dreadwing and I were badly singed.

We both left Predaking, who was still laughing as he bade us goodnight. We walked silently. Then we encountered my brother.

"My lord." Dreadwing greeted, Megatron raised a ridge as he spotted or scorched frames.

He turned to me, "What did you do?" He asked.

"It wasn't my fault!" I argued.

"It was his idea," Dreadwing said.

Megs looked back at me, indicating that I go on. I sighed, "We may have played a game... We just didn't clarify somethings to Predaking." I crossed my arms.

"And what did you play?" Megatron asked as Dreadwing silently excused himself.

"Flashlight tag, he didn't know what kind of light I meant." I told him.

Megatron snorted.

"So, why aren't you in recharge yet?" I asked him.

"Because I had work to do." He said.

"Just hand it to Starscream." I told him with a smirk.

"I did."

I looked at him, "I taught you well!" I exclaimed and flung my arms around him, he pushed me off him.

"Don't."

"What? Still mad at me?" I teased.

"Do you want to recharge in your berthroom or the cells?" He asked.

"Have a good night." I bade and quickly left. Oh man, he can be scary I could be scary too! like when I tried to murder Amora, I was scary!

Do you think I'm scary? I asked Egg as I walked back. I got no response, she must be recharging. So I tried Optimus.

He actually picked up. He sighed tiredly. "What is it?"

"Do you think I'm scary?" I asked.

"I think you're cute and adorable, why?" He blandly but quickly added. "But you look just like Megatron so really creepy!" He blurted out.

"Good."

"Now why?" He asked.

"I wanna know if I have a chance at scaring Megatron. Without faking my death." I added.

"What do you mean, 'without faking my death'?" He asked.

"I already did that, he went into a stasis lock." I explained and headed to my berthroom. Once I got there, I tried my best not to wake anyone up. "I gotta go, bye." I told him and hung up, but not before he snuck in a 'goodbye' too.

Then I went into recharge, I might as well visit tomorrow. Bring the chicks too, they can explore and Ratchet can check on them.

I woke up to frantic squawking, Egg was panicking. I looked around, Laserbeak was giving the chicks piggy-back rides, rather high up. I mean they are fragile. I stood up, he was trying so hard to stay afloat, the chicks must be blackmailing him.

I held out my servo and put it under him, he rested a bit as I waved them around like a toy plane.

What are you doing? Egg shrieked. Put them down! She demanded and I dramatically flew them down.

They all started bouncing on Laserbeak.

Honestly, you can't consider what is dangerous and what is not?" Egg huffed. Did You get your translator adapted? She asked.

I shook my helm as Laserbeak looked between me and her, "It's not compatible." I told her.

She frowned.

"It's not my fault." I complained, then the door opened. I thinking the worst, went straight to the door to block the view. But it was Soundwave, he displayed a question mark on his visor.

"Oh, I thought you were someone else." I told him and let him inside, "You need Laserbeak?" I asked, he gave a small nod.

His wings shot up in relief, shaking the chicks off.

"I think I'm going to take them on an adventure down to Earth." I told them and winked at Egg.

'Earth' means autoboots, huh?

"Yup." I nodded as Soundwave stroked them with two servos and a tentacle.

Then he grabbed Laserbeak and left. Egg scoffed, What does he mean, 'good luck'?

"Who?"

Laserbeak.

"He might not be up to the work load." I told her and petted her while the chicks ran around the reasonably safe room.

You sure?

"Yea, he'll get used to it-"

"I mean, going down to Earth." She said and nodded to the devils.

Well now I was having second thoughts. "Err, yea." I said and opened my chassis for them, I had to shove them back so I could make room, I took out the energon cubes and they hasily scrambled in to get the best seat.

And the Egg did her best to squeeze in, I closed my chassis. "Could you tell them to quiet down?" I asked her as I listened to the muffled peeps.

You think they will listen? Egg asked as I got walking. It felt so weird, like I was being tickled from the inside. Is that a helm?

"Was from the clone." I muttered. "This feels weird." I told her as I walked into another hallway.

"What feels weird?" Starscream asked.

"Ahh?" Suddenly I felt uncomfortable and Egg definitely felt threatened, or scared for her chicks.

He raised a ridge and straightened up. "Well?" He tapped his ped impatiently on the floor.

The chicks were peeping loudly. I had to cover the noise. "I feel tingly." I said, I could have made up a lie! Why did I say that?

"Tingly?" He asked.

"Yes." I said stiffly.

He raised a ridge and stared. "I don't trust you."

"Side effect of being paranoid." I waved it away and moved to go past him. He stuck out a ped for me to trip on, I kicked it aside and he feel over. "Bye bye." I teased as he growled.

I made it to a console and typed in some coordinates, close to the base, not right on it because it could be tracked. A bridge opened and I walked through. I landed on a really big stump-hill.

I coordinated myself and took of.

"This does feel weird though." I told Egg as we flew.

I know, it's like a bunch of worms wiggling on you. She told me.

"Inside, for my case." I told her as the base came in veiw.
