"At least we had some fun." I exclaimed as Knockout and I came through the ground bridge.

"Speak for yourself," he muttered looking down at his arm with a pouting lip. I looked up. We were in the control room with Soundwave (thankfully no Megatron), at a nearby computer, he turned.

"Hey, Soundy." I said trying to leave and avoid conversation. Avoid conversation with a mute mech, I snickered internally.

He replied with a recording causing me to pause in my stride. "Where are they?" The voice belonged to Megatron and it did not sound happy.

"Scrap." I heard Knockout mutter from behind me.

"Questions can come later Soundwave." I said trying to summon authority into my voice. "For now, Knockout requires my assistance," I grinned, gesturing to his arm. Soundwave glanced at his arm then turned with his back facing us once again, he was probably informing Megatron of our arrival. I dragged Knockout out of the room with me, "lets get to the medbay, fix you, then find a hiding place." I suggested.

"Yep, I could not agree more." He nodded, "I still cant believe it!" He huffed.

"That Megs will have our heads?"

"No, my arm guard. Do you know how hard they are to replace?"

"No," I admitted.

"Of course you don't, you have no sense of style after all." He noted.

"Oh?" I raised my optic ridges, "how so?"

"Well for one, your colour scheme in boring." He said exasperating the "boring."

"Is is Knockout?" A smooth yet raspy voice came from behind us, we spun on the spot to come eye to eye with Megatron. I gulped audibly.

"L-Lord Megatron!" Knockout said attempting to use his normal cheery tone to hide his clear panic, he failed. "Well your colour scheme is absolutely spiffing, if I do say so myself." He said regaining confidence with every word.

"And mine is not?" I quizzed, looking down at my friend.

"Yes," Megatron continued. "We do, after all, look alike." He said glaring down at Knockout.

He recoiled but recovered. "The original is always better than the copy." He pointed out while pointing to me as he said copy.

I snorted, "you always need a rough draft before the perfected version." I said in defence, not allowing him to wound the very little pride I have left.

Megs rolled his optics and dismissed my comment. "Where were you?" He said rounding on us, a angry glare in his optics. Knockout gave a squeak of terror.

"W-we were-" He started grimly.

"Aboard the Nemisis." I finished with a hard lie full of confidence.

He looked at me, "oh really, then why couldn't I find you?" He pushed further, not believing my bullshit one bit.

I inhaled, "we where-"

"Hiding!" Knockout finished.

"In our fort," I continued nodding.

"Which we built." Added Knockout.

"Out of the energon cubes..."

"In the storage room." Knockout finished, satisfied with our series of lies.

"I looked there." Megatron snarled bearing his pointed dentas.

"Like I said, we were hiding." Said Knockout reminding him. Megatron glared down at the both of us and eyed Knockouts arm.

"Where's your arm guard?" He barked. Knockout stood frozen in panic, so I covered him.

"Tragic..." I said shaking my helm.

"So tragic." Knockout confirmed truthfully.

"What happened?" Megatron growled, a hint of curiosity in his tone.

"We don't know." I deadpanned.

"Just disappeared..." Knockout said gazing in the distance.

"Without a trace..."

"Poof," he said, as if grieving for a long lost comrade.

"Gone." We finished together vaguely, pretending to stare distantly at the floor. Though Knockout probibly wasn't pretending, entirely believing it was a tragic event.

"Enough!" Growled Megatron, "I know you ground bridged out of the Nemisis." He said, menacingly snarling.

"Don't know what you're talking about." I shook my helm, not wanting to undo all our lies.

It's like you have to use a thousand lies to cover up one single lie. "Argh, I've had enough." He turned and began to walk away. "You can go to the pits for all I care." He scoffed as he continued going further away, and soon was out of sight.

"I can't believe our luck," my friend said after awhile. "We make a good team." He said patting me on the back.

"I know." I grinned. "And your finish doesn't look that bad, nothing a good buffing cant fix." He continued eagerly.

I chuckled, "do you have a spare arm guard?" I asked concerned, glancing at his arm.

"I have a spare piece of armour for every armour part!" He said, as if it was obscured not to.

"You were being so dramatic before." I scoffed.

"I have attachment issues." He mumbled and began walking to the medbay.

We continued talking on our way to the medbay, and soon replaced Knockouts arm guard together. Which took awhile as he continued insisting that it was off centre. "It's not off centre." I tried convincing him.

"Yes it is!" He shook his helm.

"No," I said.

"Yes, it is! I don't want to be some lopsided Lucy!"

"Fine, we'll just have to take it off all over again and risk it being even more of centre." I exclaimed dramatically although this was entertaining. I stood back awhile while Knockout struggled to put it back on. I glanced around the medbay and saw his buffer, I grabbed it and went back over to Knockout who was still struggling. I started buffing his back, which I knew it was hard for him to reach.

"Buff between the plates too, understand?" He grunted in frustration with himself.

"Yes, yes your highness." I said as I continued.

"Thanks."
