The whole class of 1-A had heard about the lamplight confrontation, and then the subsequent confrontation with Mineta. To top it off, some of them noticed Shine and Wally had been mysteriously gone again the following day.

Hagakure even went in Shine's room and found her clothes had tears in them from Hawk's feathers. She couldn't guess what could have caused them. She only thought to check because she noticed Shine had changed for no reason in particular in the middle of the day.

Altogether, the class discussed it, without Momo or Bakugo present. Bakugo refused to join them, and Momo wasn't asked, as they were all tired of her defending the DJs.

Jiro said what they were all thinking: "They are definitely up to something weird. Even if it's just extra training, why is it such a big secret? It just doesn't make any sense."

"Based on the evidence, what's our most likely conclusion?" Shoji wondered.

"They're fighting villains!" Kaminari thought this was the most exciting explanation.

"Whatever they are, they're tyrannical bullies," Mineta whined.

"Setting you straight was the only thing they did right!" Tsu said roundly.

"Yeah," Sero agreed.

Mineta scowled.

"Well, what do we do? Confront them again?" Uraraka said, "I mean, we still have no real proof. And they keep weaseling out of it."

"Correction, Likstar does. I don't think West is that smart," Jiro said, "If we could just separately talk to him, maybe. Or talk to her when he couldn't back her up. They're pretty much unbeatable together because of their powers, but apart they aren't so invincible."

"We'd never catch West, and Likstar could just toss us all through a portal," Kirishima said.

"Maybe we could get her to tire herself out first," Uraraka said.

"I bet if you asked her to participate in training, and she had to use her power, she could max out," Deku spoke thoughtfully, "Only, wouldn't she be suspicious of that?"

"I don't think so," Todoroki said, "but isn't that a little unfair?"

"You want to find out what's going on or not?" Jiro said.

"As class rep, I am concerned for our safety if we don't verify this, and if our teachers don't have any evidence, it's our duty to find some," Iida said, "After all, we're around them the most."

Todoroki frowned. "We're not going to do anything aggressive, are we?"

"Of course not," Kirishima said.

"Yes, we'll be perfectly respectful," Iida said.

"Who wants to ask, though?" Kaminari said.

Everyone looked at him.

"Oh, heck no, I can't do that. It's too out of nowhere," he said.

"Hey, she knows Shinso, right? Ask him to ask her," Mina suggested, "You two are friends."

"Uh... sort of..." Kaminari said.

"Come on, Kaminari, it's for the good of the class," Jiro urged.

Kaminari had to give in. "I'll ask him."

Shinso wasn't anxious to agree, until he heard the reason. "Suspicious stuff, huh? Okay, I see your point... Well, I'm supposed to train with you tomorrow anyway. I'll ask her to join us. She and West might have to switch shifts, though."

So he did.

Shine agreed readily. She was pleasantly surprised to be asked... though not without her suspicions that he had another motive, but she couldn't possibly have guessed the true one because she would not have thought he'd conspire with class 1-A at all.
