Medea woke up in a cold sweat for the 8th night in a row. Her head was pounding, and her breathing was short.

Her sheets were also on fire.

They'd moved to a different location, this time a small inn also half destroyed. That seemed to be the only kind of place that could fit all of them now. At least they all could have their own room.

The worst of the nightmares was they weren't always clear: A lot of them were blurry, vague images and the sounds of people screaming...and her headache would be so sharp right then, like she was trying to remember but fighting it at the same time.

Tonight, though, it was worse than ever. Her head was splitting. She started to cry, laying down on the floor.

"What was that?"

The voices began to echo in her head, like distant noises from the end of a tunnel.

"They said the fire started from inside the house...inside the livingroom..."

"It was one of the kids, I bet."

"I didn't think the boy had a power type quirk."

"The girl didn't have a quirk...did she?"

Medea gripped her head. "Stop it! Stop it!"

"No, it was the girl. That's what I heard the police say."

"Can you imagine? Her own parents."

"Devil Child."

"They should lock her up for the rest of her life."

"Devil child...devil child...devil child."

"Shut up! Shut the h--- up!" Medea screamed

"Shut up! Shut the h--- up!" Medea screamed. She didn't even know if she was yelling at the voices as her past self or if she was doing it out loud.

Her door opened and Silk came into the room with a flashlight. "Medea? What is going on?"

She reached out, and Medea shoved her hand away.

"Don't touch me."
