"That test was brutal," Kirishima commented to Kaminari and Bakugo.
"Yeah, how d'you think you did?" Kaminari asked.
"No clue. Hoping for the best though. What about you Bakugo?" Kirishima turned to him.
"I did amazing," Bakugo declared.
The other boys exchanged a wry look. Bakugo would say that no matter what-- of course, usually it was true.
Walking a bit ahead of them were Momo Yaoyorozo and Shoto Todoroki. Everyone had exited the classroom in their seat order, and those two often didn't bother to catch up to anyone else while in the hallway.
Some of the girls suspected it was because they had a secret crush on each other, but they definitely would never say so.
Jiro had joined Momo on the other side though.
"Heading to remedial after this?" Momo asked Todoroki a little awkwardly because she didn't know if that was a polite question or not.
But Todoroki never cared. "Yeah, once Bakugo so ready. He says we don't have to walk together, but I don't see the point of going separate when we have to take the same train."
"Don't freaking come after me all the time," Bakugo turned to bark at him.
Jiro rolled her eyes. Momo just ignored him.
Todoroki gave him a nonchalant look. "But it's practical."
Bakugo didn't seem that com, itted to shutting it down, he just growled something about "icy hot b-----d" to himself.
Kirishima smirked. "Guess you two are getting to be better friend,s huh?"
"Shut up--!" Bakugo would have cursed him out but before he could get further, Kirishima was distracted by something he saw ahead.
"Hey, who is that?"
Kaminari and Bakugo looked up and saw a couple of people too old to be students standing by the school's front entrance.
Both looked confused. One woman, one man. The man was eyeing the security fence with a concerned frown. The woman zeroed in on the two boys and seemed to be looking them over.
"They aren't teachers. Press maybe?" Kaminari suggested, as unlikely as that was.
"Let's go find out," Kirishima said in a suspicious voice. Every time this has happened, it was usually villains.
He strode purposefully down the walkway toward them. Bakugo didn't wait to follow, catching up in a second. He looked more angry. That was probably why the man got a little in front of the woman and her hand went to her shoulder, tugging her hair.
"Who are they?" Momo noticed what was going on now.
"I don' tknow," Todoroki frowned.
"I'm calling the teachers," Jiro said at once. "You know we'll get in trouble if we fight."
"Bakugo will fight anyway," Momo warned.
"I'll keep him in check," Todoroki rushed forward.
"I'll try to help," Momo hurried after him.
Jiro didn't want to get closer. She knew Bakugo listened to Momo more than any other girl in class.
(It wasn't because he liked her, it was because she was smarter than him. He gave credit where it was due, at least, that was what Kaminari had told Jiro about him.)
Between them and Kirishima and Kaminari, any normal villain would be easily outmatched.
The rest of the class had already turned the corner to the dorms so didn't see any of this, but Jiro group texted them and Aizawa at the same time.
