... ok, so putting my epic Vinesauce reference aside, here's some important things about this chapter!

1: first up, uhhhh this is a bit of a ✨horror✨ story. I wanted to try something out (and I've been watching scary videos sooooo)
2: next up... this kinda takes place in the same world that a chapter in the first book called "Monster Factory" takes place in (and by kinda, I mean it is just the same world)
3: regarding that last point, this is not a part 2 to "Monster Factory", it's just the same world.

Your friend, Hatsume Mei, invited you to a building she found in the woods.

She said she wanted to "show you something she found"

You got out of your car, and looked out into the forest.

You turned on your camera, and started recording as you walked through the forest.

You wanted to record whatever happened tonight, because you want to remember this experience, whatever it may be.

Plus, if things go horribly wrong, you could make a found footage film!

You came across a large building, and saw your friend standing outside it.

You happily waved.

"Mei!" You yelled.

She turned her head, and smirked when she saw you.

"Hi (Y/N)! I'm glad you could make it!" She said to you. "... hey, what's that you got there?"

"Oh, it's a camera! I wanna record whatever happens tonight, since it'll probably be fun in some way. If not, I can make a movie, right?"

"Hm. I guess so."

"So are we gonna head inside?" You asked, looking at the large double door to the building.

"Not yet, I'm waiting for another friend of mine! My... assistant, you could say! He helps me with a lot of... things I do." Mei informed you.

"Oh. So... when will he arrive...?" You asked.

"It might be a while." Mei shrugged. "I'm pretty sure he thinks something bad will happen."

"I can't argue with that though!" You laughed. "I definitely have a bad feeling about this building too..." you raised your camera, and made sure that it got a good shot of the whole building.

You waited a while longer, until someone else arrived.

"Oh... this place." He said, sighing. "I really wish we never had to come back here, Mei... I hate it so much, it hurts... all that bleeding, and pain, and heart-wrenching screams, and-" he suddenly seemed to notice you were there. "A-and just... um.., my knee was backwards, Mei! That was quite possible the worst experience I'd ever had!"

"Why... aren't you in a cast, if that happened...?" You asked him.

"Oh, it was two months ago. Mei's known about this place for a while. So who are you?" He asked before you could ask any questions.

"I'm (Y/N)! I'm a friend of Mei!" You announced, recording whoever this is.

"Oh. I'm surprised Mei has any friends anymore, after what she's done..." he gasped, and waved his hands around. "A-and by that I mean Mei's done some weird things! Like confessing to... u-uh... oh! C-confessing to really weird fetishes she has! Yeah! Yeah that's what she's done! A-and about introductions, my name's Midoriya! Alright, let's just go inside already!" He nervously laughed, as you were left confused.

The three of you walked inside the building.

"Ok, and now..." Mei pulled out a device she had, and pressed a button.

And you were suddenly restrained by a machine, causing you to drop your camera.

"H-hey, what are you doing?!" You asked in a panic.

"(Y/N)... you, just like everyone I have here... is completely imperfect." Mei told you. "I want to achieve absolute human perfection, and you are going to be another one of my test subjects."

Mei picked your camera up, and threw it on the floor as hard as she could.

"I'm going to do things to you. You need to be perfect. A perfect body, perfect blood, perfect DNA! Everything you don't have. You are one of my many attempts to create the perfect human, (Y/N)."

"Oh, there's no need to worry, (Y/N)! I won't let you die! Even if you beg me to..."

"You."

"Will."

"Be."

"Perfect."
