Maybe... just maybe... you wouldn't be in this situation right now.
As you stood outside your school, ready to return home, you hear someone behind you.
"(Y/N)!" You hear him yell, running towards you. "(Y/N) wait up! Do you have a minute?"
You turn around, and see your cute (although admittedly very strong) classmate standing there.
"Oh, hey Midoriya. How's it going?"
"Well, pretty good, honestly!" He said, smiling. "But I... I want to tell you something..."
"Sure, what's up?"
"W-well... I've started to have... feelings... for one of our classmates." He quietly admitted.
"Ooh~! Who is it?" You asked, intrigued. "Regardless of who it is though, I think you should tell them."
"W-WHAT?! NO! I-I CAN'T DO THAT!"
"Why not?"
"B- because... it's not just love, it's like... an obsession. I've memorized everything about them... a-and I'm scared of saying the wrong thing... and then having them think I'm, you know... stalking them." He nervously told you. "I mean... you know me... I'm not a stalker... right, (Y/N)....?"
"I don't know that, actually." You told him. "But honestly, I think you should just go say 'I love you'. If you get rejected, you get rejected." You shrugged. "I bet you'll find someone better in no time."
"But here's the thing, I... I don't know if I can handle being rejected..."
"Sure ya can! I believe in you! Go tell your crush you love them!"
"... alright. I-I'll tell them." He paused. "Tomorrow."
And tomorrow...
Well, something happened that you weren't expecting.
"(Y/N)!" He yelled, running towards you again.
"Hi Midoriya! Did you confess to your crush yet? How'd it go?"
"Well... I haven't yet..." he admitted. "That being said, I'm about to..."
"I love you, (Y/N)."
"W-wait, it was... me?!" You asked, completely shocked. "Midoriya, you're in love with ME of all people?!"
