Sorry if this chapter is confusing.

Anyways, remember that one chapter from the first book, based off of the songs Daughter/Servant of Evil? Same concept, different execution.

Anyways, if you haven't heard those two songs (+ Regret Message), listen to them! They're good! And also you'll probably understand the story for this chapter better if you do!

A very long time ago, there was a very feared kingdom.

Kazanchi, That was its name. And it was ruled by the fierce king of Dragons.

So, just who was this 'fierce king'?

A young boy, only fifteen years old. And to add onto that, he was a Human, which have historically always been hunted by Dragons. Yet, here he is, a Human boy, completely ruling over the Dragons.

Though, he didn't achieve that impressive feat himself. No, when he was born, his family had already ruled over Kazanchi for three generations at that point.

He's lived a life of luxury, never having anyone oppose him, always having other people do things for him.... that was the only life he'd ever known.

He couldn't understand the troubles of people below him.

Like that brunette Dragon girl.

"Oh? You think you're allowed to oppose me just because of your financial situation? That's cute..."

"Honestly, I don't see what the problem is. Just take money from the people hanging in the gallows, it's that simple."

"If you want to oppose me, then you'll become one of the people hanging. Understand?"

"Good. Now, bow down to me."

She had no further complaints about the taxes.

"Lord Katsuki, I have something for you."

"Hm? What is it?" He asked, turning his head back to look at whoever had said that.

It was his servant, and his oldest friend, Eijiro.

"Some brioche!" Eijro said, smiling sweetly, and placing the plate down on the table. "For lunch! I actually made this, and not the chefs... I hope it's good, it's probably not though..."

"Why'd you make it? And also, what the hell's a 'brioche'?"

"To be honest, I don't know. It's some kind of bread, I know that, but that's all I know." He said, unsure of himself. "And, well, for the first question... I guess I just wanted to do something nice for you!"

"You already do a lot for me." Katsuki said, knowing that even though it was a sweet gesture, he wasn't going to eat this. He's not gonna eat his best friend's mystery bread. "Speaking of doing a lot for me, here." He handed a paper to Eijiro. "I need you to head over to Morikuni, I need you to buy a few things, ok?"

"Oh! Yeah, sure, I can do that!"

"...ad while you're there" Katsuki added, pausing for a moment, slightly embarrased. "Could you ask around... see if prince Shouto will be leaving tomorrow. He's supposed to visit Kazanchi soon, and..."

"...ok!" Eijiro said, giving a little salute, and grabbing the paper. "Good luck with your crush~!"

"I DON'T HAVE A CRUSH!"
