"Have you run away?"

Her breathing quickened as he walked right past her hiding place.

"Why don't you just show yourself...? That would be so much better for you in the end..."

And then...

"Ah, there you are, Eri..."

"Found you."

"NOOOOO!" She yelled as she was picked up, swinging her fists about. "That's not fair! You always find me!"

"What can I say, Eri? I'm just good at finding things."

This is Kai Chisaki, also known as the Destruction Hero; Overhaul. And the girl with him is his niece, Eri, who is currently in his care.

Eri's mother abandoned her after her quirk developed. Eri's quirk was a mutation, not present on either side of the family... the power to rewind living things.

Overhaul only decided to become a Hero for the status. He was a part of the yakuza group known as the Shie Hassaikai, and was kind of adopted by the boss of the group.

From a young age, he knew how much more feared the Hassaikai would be if they had a Hero on their side. Nobody would mess with them. That's the only reason he decided to become a Hero.

So... he's not exactly the most... heroic person.

Despite that though, he cares a lot for his niece.

She didn't choose to have such a dangerous quirk, and despite that terrifying power, she should still be treated as a normal child.

Honestly, he thinks of Eri as his own daughter...

So you can imagine his anger when she was stolen from him.

"WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE?!" He screamed at the man he was interrogating.

"I-I don't know!" The person said. "They just paid me to take her! I-I needed the money!"

"STOP MAKING EXCUSES, AND TELL ME WHERE ERI IS."

"I-I-I d-don't know! I'm telling the truth! You have to belie-"

Then, Overhaul touched this person, making their body explode, causing blood to go everywhere.

"That felt refreshing." He said to himself, knowing full well he can't let their only lead in the case die.

That person just needed a little... scare, that's all.

He brought the person back to life, ready to interrogate this person further.

"If you don't tell me where she is, I'll do it again. And I won't be so kind as to bring you back next time."

"A-a-alright! I'll talk! I'll talk!" The person said, covering their face with their arms, and starting to cry. "I don't wanna die, man..." he said to himself. "I just took this job for the pay..."

"So what happened?"

"S-someone named... Mirio Togata, I think....h-he told me he'd pay me a shit ton of money if I gave him that girl... so of course I did it." The person confessed.

"Mirio Togata, huh...?" Overhaul asked himself. "Thank you, you've been helpful."

Then, he walked out of the interrogation room, his anger growing every second.

Mirio Togata. A Vigilante who goes by the name 'Lemillion'.

Him and Overhaul had had a few... run-ins before.

Mirio doesn't exactly think that Eri should be in the care of someone like Overhaul.

Eri was hiding somewhere in this large building.

"I just want to go home already..." she whispered to herself.

And just then... that was when she started hearing disgusting splattering sounds, and terrified screams.

After the sounds stopped, someone picked her up, and she heard a familiar voice.

"Found you, Eri."
