If you just pretend you're asleep... he'll leave you alone, for now at least...
You close your eyes, and focus on the sounds.
Rain falling outside, endlessly tapping against the window...
Wood creaking...
A door opening...
Footsteps, getting closer, and closer, and closer....
And then a voice.
"You awake...?"
You don't answer.
"Wake up." He demands.
You still don't answer.
"I'm getting impatient. Every time I come in here, you're asleep. It can't be a coincidence."
Each time he says something, you refuse to answer.
"Alright, cut the shit, I know you're not asleep."
You feel him place a hand on your face.
Then, he forces one of your eyes open, and you're looking him straight in the eyes.
"You can't ignore me forever." He says, letting go of your face. You close your eyes again.
He pulls the blanket off of you.
"Maybe this will wake you up~?"
Even if you cry out for help, no one will hear you. No one will save you...
No matter how much you want this pain to stop...
This will never end.
