You ever think to yourself, "Damn, I wish someone would love me." but deep down you know that wish will never be fulfilled?

Yeah, it always sucks when you realize that, doesn't it?

That was the situation a certain boy was in right now.

Izuku Midoriya is a lonely, quirkless boy, who just realized that nobody will ever love him. And, well, he's not taking that realization too well.

It's, like, three in the morning or something, and Izuku is basically having a panic attack. Isn't that fun?

Then, suddenly, there was a very bright light outside his window.

"H-huh? What the-?"

He felt like he shouldn't open his window, he shouldn't see what is causing this strange light, but... maybe this is something important! It probably isn't, but what if it is?

His curiosity got the better of him, and he opened the window.

There, he saw the identity of the blinding light.

"Alright, um, be not afraid or whatever, you know the drill, I got something important to tell you."

"W-wait! Back up please, I don't understand what's going on!" Izuku pleaded. "Who are you? Why are you here at three in the morning? And what do you mean 'you know the drill'? I don't know the drill!"

"What, never been visited by an angel before?" The apparent 'angel' asked. "Alright, I'll go through the boring part. So, my name is Calypso, and I'm an angel! Well... I'm technically an angel, but I'm not exactly there yet, which is why I'm visiting you."

"Wha... what's that supposed to mean...?" He asked.

"I'm getting to that. So, I'm training to be one of the 'big guys', I suppose you could say, and to complete my training I just need to fulfil the wish of a human! And that human just so happens to be you, puer viridis!"

"Wish? I didn't know angels fulfilled wishes..." Izuku said to himself.

"Yeah, well I do. I wanna get this over with soon as possible, so go ahead! Dabo tibi quodcumque volueris!"

"Um... is anything off-limits?" Izuku asked, nervously. There was something very specific he wanted to wish for, but... what if she can't do it...?

"Nah, can't think of anythingthat would be."

"If there's no rules... if there's nothing I can't wish for, then..."

He pauses, feeling a bit embarrassed and pathetic about telling this to a literal angel... but he takes a deep breath, and then reveals his wish.

"Could you... make someone fall in love with me...?" He asked. "I want someone who will adore me forever, someone who would never even think about leaving me... someone who will accept me... I want someone to love, someone who will love me back. Can you do that for me...?"
