The idea for this chapter is actually one I've had since the first book, but I never ended up writing it.

Since winter break starts next week (at least for me), I was reminded of this idea, so I finally decided to write it!

You couldn't believe what was happening.

Almost all of your teammates were down, except for you...

And him.

He was standing above you, the one who had taken out everyone else...

It's been like this since the beginning, hasn't it?

He was never your teammate, no... he was...

"K-Kaminari, you're... y-you're..." The cold was making it hard for you to speak, as well as you not wanting to accept this as the truth. "You're... a t-traitor?!"

"I did what I had to." He smirked.

"We were a team!" You yelled, feeling betrayed. "We were... f-friends..."

"You believed that?" Kaminari asked. "I'm honestly a little touched you trusted me when I said that. I'm not that great a liar, (Y/N), I'm surprised you didn't realize sooner!"

He readied an attack, preparing to take you out next.

"They offered me everything." He told you. "Fame, fortune, love and adoration from everyone... would I have gotten any of that if I worked with you?"

Kaminari raised his arm.

"I feel kinda sorry for you, honestly. You'll be defeated so easily... nobody will know you ever existed." He smiled. "But that's enough talk. Bye bye, little (N/N)~!"

Kaminari's snowball hit you right in the face.

"GOD DAMNIT!" You yelled.

"Sorry (Y/N), rules are rules!" He said, sticking his tongue out at you. "On the plus side though, now you get to go inside and get all warmed up!"

"Yeah yeah, whatever..." you said, getting up from the ground. "Who's team were you actually on, if you weren't with me?"

"Monoma's." He responded. "I might not like him that much, but in all honesty, his plan was pretty good! You totally didn't expect that, did ya?!"

"Not at all." You said. "I'll save a hot chocolate for you when I get in."

"Well expect to be holding on to it for a while, 'cause there's no WAY I'm getting eliminated!"

It was the first day of winter break, and the staff members decided:
"Fuck it. It's time for a school-wide snowball fight."

The rules are simple:
Try not to get hit.
If you get hit, you're eliminated.
When you're eliminated, you go inside.
You can make teams with other people, but there are no strict rules when it comes to teams.

That last rule is why Kaminari betrayed you like he did.

Oh, did you expect this to be about something else?

Nope, just a snowball fight.
