Don't you hate it when you accidentally awaken and set free a God that was sealed in a fountain for thousands of years and he makes you awaken and set free the other Gods as well, and frankly, they're all pissed because they were sealed away for thousands of years so they decide to end the world but they let you live because you freed them?

It was just a normal night.

(Y/N) had tried to escape again, and of course, Katsuki needed to teach them a lesson.

So, as he normally does after dragging (Y/N)'s ass back home, he... punished them, so to say.

They were beaten and scolded, to make sure they knew that what they just did was wrong.

But something was different than normal.

(Y/N) was always a very strong person, which was part of the reason Katsuki fell so deeply in love with them, they were the only person as strong as him. During punishments they barely flinch, usually...

But this time, they fell to the ground.

"(Y/N)?!"

He dropped to his knees and laid (Y/N)'s head in his lap. Something's wrong, (Y/N) isn't the type to collapse like that...

"(Y/N), what's wrong?!"

(Y/N)'s eyes stared directly into his, and a wide grin appeared on their face as blood leaked out of their mouth...

And then, their smile faded.

They weren't moving.

"(Y-Y/N), GET UP!"

Katsuki stood up, letting (Y/N)'s head hit the floor, but even that didn't snap them out of it.

"(Y/N) WAKE THE FUCK UP!" Katsuki screamed. "IF YOU'RE FUCKING PLAYING WITH ME RIGHT NOW, I-I'LL KILL YOU, GOT IT?! SO GET UP ALREADY!!"

He started kicking (Y/N) in the head, trying to hurt them enough to wake them up.

"(Y/N) I SWEAR TO GOD, I'LL NEVER FORGIVE YOU IF YOU'RE MESSING WITH ME!!"

"YOU AREN'T DEAD, YOU CAN'T BE DEAD!"

"I-I DIDN'T EVEN DO THAT MUCH TO YOU!"

"YOU'VE BEEN PUT THROUGH WAY WORSE SHIT THAN THIS BY ME BEFORE, THERE'S NO WAY THIS KILLED YOU!"

"I KNOW YOU'RE FAKING IT! WAKE UP ALREADY, BASTARD!!"

No matter what Katsuki did, (Y/N) didn't wake up.

"(Y/N), please..." he said, dropping to his knees again, trying to hold back his tears. "Please wake up... I-I know I've been putting you through literal Hell, but... I can't fucking live without you, (Y/N)!"

He grabbed (Y/N)'s body, pulling them up, and hugging them tightly.

"I can't live without you, so please..."



"Please just fucking wake up already (Y/N)..."

(Y/N) was dead, and it was all his fault.

He did this.

He KILLED the only person he genuinely loved.

He buried (Y/N) in the forest, a wooden plank with their name and day of death carved into it was placed in the 'grave' with them.

Katsuki's reason for living was gone.

He didn't want this, he never wanted this...

He just wanted him and (Y/N) to be happy together...

But now, that can never happen.
