You had a really good friend, a quirkless boy named Izuku. You two were great friends, and eventually, your friendship evolved into a relationship!

Lucky you.

One day, while watching a show, you said something.

"Huh? No, there's no way this would ever happen in real life!" You said, exasperated. "A group of villains taking over an entire country? I can understand, like, a small town, but a country?! And no one stopping them?! Nah, never."

"Never?" Izuku asked. "You're sure that would never happen...?"

"Yep. I mean, there are so many Heroes in the country... you think nobody would be able to stop them?"

"In my opinion, I think it's very possible." Izuku told you.

"Really?" You asked.

"Yeah! Ok, say... say a particular group of villains were to work together... if they could really work together... I think it would be possible to take down some Heroes." He explained.

"But, again, there are a bunch of Heroes in this country. You think they'd be able to take down every Hero in the country?" You asked.

"No, not every Hero, obviously, just a few. Just enough that they wouldn't have to worry about being taken down. Like, the top Heroes, like All Might, Endeavour, and Hawks. And then slowly picking off the other Heroes, until the others realize that it's pointless to try to defend the country."

"Have you... thought this through before?" You asked.

"Not really." He smiled.

Everything was perfect. Things couldn't get better for you two!

And then one day, (two days after you both entered high school, specifically) Izuku disappeared. He was just... gone, never to be seen again. Nobody knew what happened to him, where he went, or if he was even alive. To be honest, you just assumed he'd died.

And then a year-or-so later... something happened. The assassination of the symbol of peace. It was done by a group identifying themselves as "The League Of Villains".

Then, a month after that, Endeavour was taken out. Not only him though, whoever did it also killed his children and wife.

Then Hawks was killed, then Miruko, then Best Jeanist... Heroes kept getting killed, and the country fell into a state of chaos. Completely controlled by this group.

Even though there are still Heroes, the chaos was so intense they had next to no chance of being able to help.

And also, this whole thing had just had some... effects on people. If this is our daily life now, might as well embrace it.

You woke up like any other day.

You stretched and yawned as you rose out of bed. Then, something hits your window.

You look out your window, and see your neighbour's dead body laying on your lawn.

"I never liked that bitch anyways." You said to yourself.
