The sweet husband was really dreading the 15 year old granddaughters visit, because she told us on the phone that she "broke up" with her boyfriend right before coming over here.

He said he didn't want to deal with the crying and moaning and groaning, we are too old for that crap, it would go on for days, yada, yada, yada. I told him that I would make sure she didn't moan and cry around him and just not to worry about it, it would all be fine.

She comes in, never mentions the boyfriend, wants to know when they are going deer hunting, business as usual.

THEN he gets worried about why she isn't moaning and groaning, that there must be something wrong.

So he asks her if they are still broken up, and she says yep, they are. He wants to know if she isn't upset about it, she says nope, I am not upset.

He asks her, why are you not upset, girls usually get upset about these things.

She tells him that the young man didn't want her coming over here for the whole christmas vacation, and he didn't want her going deer hunting, he wanted her to stay there where they could at least see each other occasionally.

Poppy said, well, I can understand that, I wouldn't want granny to go off for two or three weeks when we were dating.

First she asks, did you and granny date 3 weeks?? Then he asks her if she is ok about all this. She says, I told him he needed to take a big old dose of get the hell over it, if he wants us to be back together we can talk about it when I get back home.

The sweet husbands mouth opens and closes a few times and he says, everybody always says if I talk ugly they will repeat it, they don't repeat me at all, it's all you, you tell me to take a dose of get the hell over it all the time, and that's what she told him

I just couldn't resist and now he's all offended.

I told him to take a big old dose of get the hell over it.
