what an afternoon!! Sometimes you just over estimate both your strength and someone else's weakness. The SH has been sick all week with a cold, I had the gallbladder out on Monday, and today I knew I just had to get my behind to the store. I haven't eaten much all week, but I actually am not hurting that much so wasn't worried about going.

At first the SH insists that he needs to go with me, and I finally convince him that he's just now beginning to feel half human, he really doesn't need to get out, so he tells me ok, but take Sheryl, she can at least help you by getting someone if you have a problem.

Off we go, and I am doing ok, no problems walking, but just as we are starting to get done, I begin to feel really light headed. I tell Sheryl my blood sugar is probably low, have had that problem all my life, I sit down on the little bench and give Sheryl some money, ask her to go get me a piece of fruit, doesn't matter what, but make sure she checks out and pays for it.

I watch her go through the line and pay for her purchase, and as she walks back over handing me a bag with a whole pineapple in it, I manage to keep a straight face as I thank her and tell her that I really think it would be easier to eat a banana  or some grapes,if she won't mind just going though that line one more time.

I had been able to regain my composure before she got back, but I am sure half of the small town I live in is convinced that the crazy woman sitting on the bench at the grocery store laughing hysterically at a pineapple is not only a danger to herself, but possibly to others.
