The SH and his memory

People who remember things really make me feel bad. This isn't a new thing that happened since I got old, I never have remembered details. NEVER!

I can remember what I had for lunch yesterday, that's about as detailed as I get. But when someone asks me a question, like how long have you lived here, and I say I had pork roast for lunch yesterday, they get a really puzzled look.

My husband is one of those detail minded individuals, and I make him crazy, almost as crazy as he makes me. I mean who cares what happened on January 15, 1994, and this man can remember where the job was, how many trucks were running on it, and what time he got home from work. Are you serious? I got no clue what I ate for lunch that day! Yesterday is as far back as I go!

Thankfully, after the first few years, he's learned what to expect. He will still say, do you remember???? then he stops himself, and says, "no you don't, never mind, BB. "What did you eat for lunch yesterday", I always know the answer!

But by the way, BB", which, no matter what he says about beautiful baby, I know it means bird brain.  I do not keep details in my head, they keep you awake at night, but I am not stupid :)
