we spent the day today with Randy's sweet sister, Dot. Both of us have been really worried about her, she has been sick for a couple of weeks and then this new complication has us and her kids and grandchildren worried.
The sweet husband did what he does best when things are kind of weird and scary and that is to get everyone laughing.

He, Dot and I are being pretty quiet, she feels a little better today, but still very sick, and he says Dot, do you remember when Tommie knocked me out and then got mad at me for being unconscious and you laughed at me?

She burst out laughing, I turned red as a beet, because sadly this really did happen. Well, half of it did, I didn't knock him out, he knocked himself out, but I did get mad at him.

We were in bed sound asleep, about 30 minutes before time to get up and somehow his silly old behind rolls out of the bed. It sounded like an earthquake, scared the crap out of me. I jumped out of bed ran around to his side of the bed and asked him if he was ok. He didn't answer, so I thought he was dead, I started screaming his name, reached down and felt of him and I could feel a pulse, I asked him again, are you ok, do you need me to help you get up, he shook his head but never said a word. I was ticked totally off, because the sweet husband can be a real drama queen, and I thought he was just not answering because he wanted me to sit there and panic.

So I inform him that I am not going to sit there and beg him to answer me, when he feels like getting up I'll be in the living room. Just as I walk into the living room the phone rings and it's Dot and I am telling her what an ass he is being and she is laughing at me for getting so mad about it and at him for doing it.

I look up and he is walking into the living room. He has this huge goose egg on his head and I say, uhhhh, are you ok. He says, hell I don't know, I was stunned. I told Dot I needed to take him to the ER he argued he wasn't going to no damn ER, Dot was laughing because she knew I felt like an idiot, and then I said, do you remember me asking you anything in the bedroom and he said no, what did you ask me, and I said never mind.

Dot was practically rolling on the floor by then and telling me don't tell him, don't tell him, but I went ahead and told him that I thought he was being an ass, I didn't know he was really hurt. He didn't say a word, he took the phone from me and told Dot that when he started having seizures because of his head injuries that she and I were going to feel really bad about laughing at him.
she told him that we probably would but until then it was damn funny.
