SH and the Amber Alerts

Another conversation at the home for the equally insane.

Husband: They say on tv that you can get those Amber alerts on your phone.

Me: Yes, but you do know that you have to actually go outside of the house in order to see a vehicle driving on a road, right?

Husband: Maybe they will drive down our street and I would see them when I take the garbage out

Me: It could happen, but I think you are going to get woke up from your nap for a lot of alerts that you won't be taking out the trash on the right day for.

Husband: Well then that's out, if they are gonna wake me up from my nap and it isn't trash day, just have them put it on your phone.
