We used to have a neighbor, a lady that worked hauling logs with the same company my daddy worked for, for many years, she looked, dressed and acted just like the men. I was probably 10 or so before I ever even knew that she was a lady.
When I did find out I was very curious, because I knew that she had been living with a woman that I thought was her wife. so I asked mama, tons of questions. she tried to answer them honestly but without a lot of details, and details were what I needed.
She finally said, the bible says for us not to judge, so I can't have an opinion about something that is none of my business because that would be me passing judgement. God will deal with whatever needs to be dealt with, and whoever needs to pay a price will pay it. And we might all be surprised on Judgement day to find out we were all wrong in what we thought he would do about it. He will take care of how he feels about it, and if he needs my help I am sure he will let me know.
I do believe that Phil Robertson was asked what his beliefs were, and as a Christian he gave his message. I think he added some things that did not enhance the message. But he did, so he has to pay the consequences for his actions. I am happy, happy, happy that his family is backing him up. I don't think the corporate world is very familiar with people who think something other than money is important.
