I find immense satisfaction when Karma becomes the bitch right in front of my old eyes, although I am sad at why it happened

A few years ago, Sheryl had a really bad spell and was wandering off and I was scared to death that she would get so far away that I couldn't find her. I went down to the police station and they sent a smartass little policeman in to talk to me. I explained her situation, and asked him what could I do in advance of her being missing to make sure it didn't happen. He was absolutely hateful and informed me quickly that she was an adult and I couldn't hold her prisoner even if she is mentally ill, in fact, I could not tell her what to do or when to do it, and if I wanted her out of my house I had to have her evicted and if I did any of those things I could be arrested.

Well, me, being a Wooten that has lived with a Wilhite for so many years, told him thanks, and that apparently he woke up this morning, asshole side up, and never had turned over, but I appreciated his time and lack of help.

Sheryl is having some issues again, and went for one of her walks and evidently got hot and the closest place with an air conditioner was the police station. She went in and sat down, and after they asked if they could help her, they told her she would need to leave. Her reply was, this is a public building, bitch, and I am the public.

Since Marlin is a small town and everyone knows everyone, someone knew where she lived and sent a policeman to see me. Bless his heart, it was the same policeman. He explained to me that I needed to come get her and I explained to him that she was an adult. and, in fact, a policeman had told me I could not tell her what to do or when to do it, so if they wanted her out of there they needed to take care of it

He left and in a few minutes brought her home, apparently if she didn't have to walk she didn't mind leaving
