The Sweet Husband

Apparently It is impossible for me to stay out of trouble

The Sweet Husband decides to take his morning shower. That sounds so simple, he's done that every day for almost 40 years. No problems, simple task, I can't get in trouble, I'm just sitting in the living room, minding my own business, throwing the puppy a toy occasionally and then arguing with him to get it back so I can throw it again. When the puppy thinks he's in trouble he puts his face down on the floor, puts his paws over his face and hides from you, keep that in mind, it is an important part of this story.

The sweet husband walks out of the bathroom, stark naked, because he had forgotten to get a towel, had been calling my name several times, and I didn't hear him, so his voice is a little loud when he is complaining, down goes the puppies face, hands over eyes, because he thinks loud voices mean he is in trouble.

First words out of my mouth, Good Lord man, put some clothes on,  you are scaring the dog.

I am sure he will start speaking to me again when he gets hungry.
