Ok, I have to apologise. I know nothing about homecoming so although I researched it, it's not the same as actually knowing what happens because you've lived it. So I apologise for any past, present or future mistakes I make about it.

Secondly, I'm using the whole Gabriel wanting his tongue pierced. I don't know if C.L.Stone is having him doing it for the same reasons I want him to do it though. ;) :o :)

Part Thirty-Seven

Sang's POV

Frankie's was a low key restaurant with low lighting and waitresses dressed in white and black. The decor was dark and comfy, there were booths lining one wall and then tables set up in the middle of the room. The staff had put three tables together at the back of the room to make room for us.

When we arrived we were running a little late and everyone else was already there. I slid into the seat that Mr Blackbourne pulled out for me. He pushed the seat back in as I sat down and I thanked him. I was sat between him and North. Silas was sat to North and Nathan was sat next to Mr Blackbourne. Across from me was Dr Green and to his right was Gabriel and then Victor. To Dr Green's left was Luke and Kota.

"Sorry we're late," I said and took the menu that Mr Blackbourne held out to me.

"How come you're late?" Luke asked Gabriel leaning forward to see him.

"We were teaching Trouble the Waltz and the Cha Cha, she's a fucking natural. We want you and the Doc to show her how to jive."

"Yes, that would be fun," Luke said and looked at me with a big grin. I found myself grinning back.

I looked down through the menu realising that they had already gone ahead and chosen although they had waited on us to order.

A young woman came to the table with a pen and a book and I hastily choose something.

"Are we ready to order?" she asked and I nodded.

"Ladies first," Mr Blackbourne said and I flushed and gave her my order of Chicken Korma with Naan bread. I knew that one better than the others, and although it was the type of meal you heated in a microwave that I had, I was fairly sure there was no difference in taste.

"And to drink?"

"Could you bring four pitchers of orange juice and two of water, please," Mr Blackbourne spoke up and she nodded and wrote it down. She went around the table and took everyone elses orders and then she was moving off.

I listened as they started to talk, sometimes between themselves, sometimes as a group.

"You ok, Sang Baby?" North touched my hand on the table and I turned and smiled up at him.

"I'm fine, thanks," I grinned at him.

"You have fun dancing?"

"I loved it. How's practise?"

"Boring," he moaned. "It's cutting into the shifts I should be at the Diner."

"I can take your shifts," I said to him and he smiled down at me and stroked his fingers over my hand.

"Uncle has them covered, it's just annoying that's all. I'll be glad when this fucking game is over."

"So will I," I said thinking about them being away from Friday to Sunday afternoon.

"Miss Sorenson," Mr Blackbourne caught my attention and I turned to him, glad when North kept his fingers on my hand.

"About your detention. It's going to be in the music room with myself and Dr Green, if he isn't doing a shift at the hospital."
