Please don't hate me.... I'm really nervous, it was not planned at all... see what you think, but please be gentle with me.
Sang's POV
"They're beautiful, thank you, Victor." I placed the crystal vase of roses onto the coffee table and leant forward to sniff them. I could see a tiny crystal gem glued to a petal on each rose and I resolved, that as soon as I had the chance, I would Google how to dry flowers so I could keep them forever.
I watched as Victor sank onto the sofa pulling at his tie, his bow tie! It clicked that he was wearing his Tux.
"Oh no! Were you in the middle of something important?" I asked him. He patted his knee and I went across and sank down sideways onto his lap. He drew me in towards him and tucked my head under his chin, my ear against his heart.
"You actually saved me from a very dull dinner party that I was going to with George and Jasmine. The phone call from Luke was welcome for two reasons. It gave me a reason to leave and it gives me a chance to spend time with you."
"As long as you won't get into trouble, Victor," I murmured, my fingers on the hidden pearl buttons.
"No, I think they were glad in the end that I wasn't going," he said, his voice rumbling under my ear. "They're still smarting that I can't do any concerts until my hands were completely healed. Dr Robert's orders."
I lifted one of his strong, precious hands, the cuts had mostly healed into long thin scab lines and didn't look red anymore.
"Do they still hurt?" I asked him and he chuckled.
"No, they never really did. The Doc and Mr B explained to Dr Robert's the rest would do me good after the Christmas Schedule and my parents went with it. They assumed the Dr Robert's meant my hands and he didn't clarify it. Besides, they don't want me performing or in public really, while I still look "Horrific" as George put it."
"You do not look horrific!" I gasped, outraged that they could say something so callous to him. I sat up and caught his face between my hands gently. A few cuts remained around his eyes and forehead but the bruising had faded almost completely away.
"I think they meant the cuts and bruises," he said. "They don't think it's good for the image. Don't worry about it, Princess, it's better than them thinking they could cash in on the sympathy vote."
"Oh, Victor," I leant forward and kissed him gently. We kissed for a few moments, long deep kisses, my hands in his hair and his hands on my back.
"Not that I'm complaining but how come Nathan isn't here?" he asked when we drew apart.
I told him what had happened with David coming over and then Silas coming down. He looked concerned when I said about Silas needing to go for Theo.
"Nathan may not make it back tonight," he said, his hands holding mine in my lap. "Theo can take a little while to cool down sometimes."
