A/N:  A LOT shorter tonight, but it just ended nicely where it had without getting really into the next bit.  Bit fluffy as well.  Hope you all enjoy it.

Kota's POV

Jessica was sitting beside me offering her thoughts on the matter.

"It's straight already, Kota, just wrap it up!" she huffed out.

"Shh, It's important that it's just right," I told her and she laughed, but it was sweet and not at me.

"I hope I get a boyfriend who will do what you've done for, Sang," she said and slid her fingers over the box top. I had spent ages on this and I just hoped she liked it and then Jessica's words sunk in.

"Ha, that's what you think, Squirt," I laughed. "Who said you're ever allowed to date!"

"Kota!" She glared at me. "You can't stop me from me dating," she huffed out, folding her arms.

"Yes, I can, I'm head of this house, Squirt and what I says goes. There will be no boys for you until you're at least 25 and I have personally vetted them.... and let's face it, he'd have to get through the other guys as well."

"Oh great!" she heaved a huge sigh and then brightened.

"Yeah, but you'll be married to Sang by the time I date and you'll have your own house. Can I be a bridesmaid?"

I blinked rapidly at her and then carefully tapped the last piece of wrapping paper onto the small box.

"Bridesmaid? Getting a bit ahead of yourself there, Jess, I'm only seventeen," I said quietly. I wanted to marry Sang, but I knew that it would never happen. I lifted a hand and rubbed at where my heart started to hurt slightly.

"Don't be silly, I don't mean now!" she laughed. "Maybe when you're twenty, that would make me fifteen!"

"Well, thanks for arranging my wedding, but what makes you think we'll get married at twenty," I said, grinning at her.

"Mom," she said with all the finality of a twelve year old when it comes to parents. "She said the other day that you'd need to be in a stable job before you married, Sang."

"She was talking about me marrying, Sang?" I asked, my heart flopped slightly in my chest.

"It just came up," she said. "Wendy's sister is getting married next summer and she's having seven bridesmaids! Seven, Kota!" She shook her head and giggled. "Wendy is one of them and she showed me a picture of her dress. I showed mom and asked her if I can be your bridesmaid when you marry, Sang."

"But I might not marry, Sang," I pointed out, my hand had started to shake slightly. "Sang may not want to marry me, Jess."

"Of course she will, dummy," she said as if I was the slowest person on the planet. "You're not bad for a boy, why wouldn't she?"

"Well..." I faded out, "It's a long time in the future, Squirt, don't get your hopes up."

"Mom thinks you will," she said and lifted the ribbon and started to curl it for me using a pencil.

"She does?" I was beginning to realise that maybe I had picked up my mom completely wrong and she didn't know what was going on. I swallowed, my mouth dry, it might cause problems, just as Sang envisioned, but I knew that it wouldn't stop me from standing beside her and my brothers.

"Uh huh!" She handed me the curled ribbon and I attached it to the box and watched as she started on another one for me.

"Well, Jess, I may not marry her, I might just live with her," I told her and she looked a little shocked and then just shrugged.
