Thanks for keeping with me :) I have added a bit to the Pictionary scene, not a lot, but I just thought it ended rather abruptly before, so I've tried to smooth it out a bit more. :)

Part Fifty-Eight

Sang's POV

Gabriel took charge like he was a general. He split us into two teams. Mr Blackbourne, Kota, Victor, Nathan and me in one and the rest onto a second team.

He produced an A3 sheet pad of paper, two packs of coloured pens, a cardboard box that had Pictionary written all over it in multicolours and decorated in a very unique Gabriel way, and a timer.

We moved the furniture around until the coffee table could be placed against the wall and the paper was propped against the wall, and the two teams could sit together.

"I've put both sets of words into the box," Gabriel told us as Luke and Nathan came over with a tray of coke bottles and water. I knew that both Mr Blackbourne and Dr Green were old enough to drink, but I had yet to see either of them drinking anything more than soda or water.

"So it's pot luck if you get a dirty word or a clean one," Gabriel said casually.

"Who starts?" Luke demanded flopping down onto the sofa next to North.

"Highest throw to play," Gabriel said and produced a dice from his pocket.

I had ran upstairs when we first got in and changed. I was wearing my sleep shorts and my tank top and I was much more comfortable. I had my phone back inside the built in bra as well. I had to leave it behind for dancing as it wasn't going to stay in the halter top safely. Gabriel had told me it would be fine as they would stay with me all night, not letting me out of their sight.

I had asked him what about if I needed the bathroom and in a very straight face he had told me that they would smuggle me into the men's and get me to us the cubicle in there while they waited outside. I don't think he'd been joking either. Fortunately I hadn't needed to go until we had got back.

"Ok, four!" Dr Green said and I saw he had rolled the dice for their team.

Mr Blackbourne threw the dice and rolled a three.

"Ha! You're going down, Owen!" Sean laughed and Mr Blackbourne rolled his eyes at him.

"Dream on, Sean, dream on," he drawled and I grinned. They were so relaxed and familiar with each other. I knew that the way they appeared at school and in public was not how they were all the time and that made perfect sense. Yes, so Mr Blackbourne was stern and exacting, polished like a diamond, but he also had this side to him and it really was like looking at a family of brothers. I had no idea what families should be like, but it made sense that he had to be this way with them for a bond to be formed.

"Gabriel cannot go first!" Nathan said and Gabriel nodded at him.

"I'll go first," Luke said and I watched as he picked out a card from the box and rolled his eyes at Gabriel.

"Seriously?" he said and then taking one pack of pens, he crossed to the paper, making sure his team could see.

Kota turned the timer and Luke started to draw. It looked like a round circle.

"Pond," I said and they all stopped to look at me.

"Trouble, have you ever played Pictionary before?"

I shook my head and Kota took my hand.

"Ok, we're in teams for a reason, Sang. One person is picked from the team, takes the word and has to draw it for his team. His team has to guess, not the other team. If they get it then they win and have another go with a different person drawing. If they don't get it then they lose and the other team is up. You can't use words, numbers or use actions to help your team. Get it?"
