Ok, some of you are really not going to like what happens here. It's times like these I miss the forum where we could hash it out.  But I'm loving all the comments you ladies leave, I can see why it's fallen both ways between who you agree with.

In defence of this chapter: No one is perfect, not Sang, not the boys. They are not going to get it right every time in the way they respond to each other.  They are going to fight, argue, because that is how it works.  It would be wonderful if they responded perfectly every time, but it would also be unreal and a bit unbelievable.  And quite possibly boring. :)

And for the record, I feel more for Sean then Sang in this one, although I can see it from both sides.  But by the time I reached the end of the update I was cursing both of them.  Mr Blackbourne also took me by surprise in this one with the way he reacts.  And don't kill me when you reach the end, not all things are as they seem.

I am also, certifiably insane, but then you all knew that anyway. ;)

Sang's POV

I held the phone out for Mr Blackbourne and he took it from me, his eyes holding mine.  He made no move to open it though.

"Miss Sorenson?"

He wanted to hear what I had to say, but at the moment I wasn't sure what to say.

I heard Dr Green sigh heavily and then he was slumping down onto one of the sofas.  He leant forward onto his knees and buried his face in his hands, a shaft of guilt went through me.  I had never meant to hurt him or any of them, I had just wanted to check Volto off the list of suspects, because I was certain it wasn't him.  I knew what I had to say.

"I didn't do it to hurt you, any of you," I said quietly my hands were starting to shake in reaction, but I stuffed them into the pockets of my coat.  "I was pretty certain it wasn't him, I figured texting him would just help cross him off the list."

I heard my phone being switched on and I turned to watch as Mr Blackbourne found my texts and read through them.  His lips pursed together and I knew he was angry.

"When did you tell Dr Green you had texted him?" he asked me, his eyes on my phone.  "Sean, catch."  Dr Green looked up and caught my phone when Mr Blackbourne threw it to him.

"She told me when she had to," Dr Green said and he sounded exhausted.  "When it was impossible to hide it, isn't that right, Sang?" His eyes on the phone where he was reading through the texts.  I frowned, that wasn't right.

"No, I was going to tell you," I said.  "I was going to tell you all when we got back tonight."

Dr Green snorted and got up.  He came towards me and held the phone out to me, his eyes still not meeting mine.

"Forgive me for finding that hard to believe," he deadpanned as I took the phone with shaking fingers.  I stuffed the phone back into my pocket.

"Sean," Mr Blackbourne said his name quietly.
