Part 104

Dr Green's POV

I smiled. God, I loved her so much. I wondered when she had done this; it must have been when they were decorating here when Nate got broken into. I wondered if Owen had the same. I climbed back out of bed and went down the stairs and over to his door. I knocked, hearing him call out to go in.

"Sean?" He was sitting in bed with his ipad on his lap. A quick look confirmed what I had thought.

"Have you looked up recently?" I asked him with a grin and saw him frown and then he was looking up. I saw the smile creep over his face and then he was looking back at me, the smile contained as usual.

"Sang?"

"I assume so, don't think Gabe really cares for us like that," I grinned and lent in the doorway.

He indicated with his head for me to come in and sit down beside him. I went across and slid into the bed with him.

He switched off Safari and opened up Facetime and dialed Sang.

She answered on the second ring and I was surprised to see that she was alone.

"Hello!" She gave an excited wave when she saw the two of us on her screen. I grinned at her.

"Miss Sorenson, thank you for your decorations," Owen said and she frowned and then he was pointing the ipad up to the pink heart on the ceiling and I heard her giggling.

"I had forgotten all about that," she laughed. "I did that when we were decorating the tree and then Nathan called and it went out of my mind," she said.

"Who is with you?" Owen asked.

"Me," Kota's hand came into view as he spoke and then disappeared again.

"What are you both up to?" I asked her and she pulled a face and then looked guilty away from the camera and shrugged.

I looked at Owen with a frown, but he merely lifted an eyebrow.

"Kota hasn't got you studying, has he?" he asked and I groaned.

"Now studying exactly," Sang hedged and then held up her geometry handbook. "He's going over the bits I missed and didn't get."

"It's late, Kota," I said and his face appeared behind her, pushing his glasses up his nose.

"We've just finished actually," he said and Sang nodded.

"It's helped a lot and it took my mind off.... well, you know." Her face fell as she remembered Uncle.

I resisted rolling my eyes, trust Kota, gets her on her own, needs to get her mind of her troubles and so what does he do? Study.

"Who else is coming over tonight?" Owen asked.

"Nathan is coming over, he's just locking up his place," Kota said.

"Ok, well thank you, Sang," Owen says and I saw that blush cross her face when he calls her by her name.

"I'm glad you both liked it," she said with a grin and I sighed, wanting to reach out and touch her.

"Sleep well," I tell her and she nods and blows us a kiss.

I blow one back, Owen merely graces her with a slightly wider smile and tells her he loves her. Oh well, at least he can do that.

He disconnects the call and I lie back, staring up at the pink heart that matched mine on his ceiling.

"I think we need to sit Kota down and explain that there is life beyond studying," I murmured.
