Sang's POV
I was determined that I was not going to flip out. I was going to get into that shower like every other person on the planet and have a shower. I was not going to think about what had happened before. My mother, McCoy, they were all part of my past, not my present and not my future. My nine incredible boyfriends were my present and future. I was going to be strong for myself and them.
"If you would rather I ran a bath," he murmured as he wrapped the towelling robe around me. I had sat on his lap, cuddled up, for awhile and then he had sat me on the sofa and grabbing his and my clothes he had told me to wait and then he had gone out. He had returned quickly, a white robe on and one in his hands for me.
"I think I would like to try the shower," I said. I tried to sound firm, keep my voice level and even.
"As you wish," he said and I looked up in delight.
"The Princess Bride," I said and he blinked, and then recognition showed on his face and he smiled at me.
"Except I have no trouble telling you that I love you," he said and before I could say anything he had swept me up into his arms and started to carry me from the room and up the stairs.
"When did they show that one to you?" he asked as I wrapped my arms around his neck and held on.
"Nathan persuaded me the other night... I don't think he wanted to watch any more Disney," I giggled.
"What have you seen so far?" he asked, he setting me down on the bathroom floor.
"Mulan," I said, knowing that he had also sat through that one with me. "Pocahontas, Swiss Family Robinson, Peter Pan and Davy Crockett."
"Ah, the more manly ones then," he chuckled, shut the bathroom door and then moved to the shower. "Which ones would you really like to see? Not what you think we could sit through, but the ones you really want to see?"
"Oh," I toed at the carpet under my feet and thought about it. "I'd like to see Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella and Mary Poppins. I don't know any others. I read the Mary Poppins books and Peter Pan when I was younger."
"And what did you think of how Disney portrayed Peter Pan?" he asked with interest and held out his hand to me. He had the shower running now and I felt a ball of nerves start in my stomach. I forced myself to consider his question.
"Um... they weren't really accurate, were they? In the film he's quite harmless, other than trying to keep Wendy and the boys, but in the books he was.... naughtier, I guess."
He stripped his robe off and Peter Pan slipped from my mind.
He was gorgeous, every perfect inch of him. Even though it wasn't that long ago that he had touched me, I could feel myself stirring again, my mouth going dry. I averted my eyes and looked down at the belt on my own robe. I felt a little nervous just stripping off in front of him, which was ridiculous considering what we had just done together. I undid the knot, slid the robe down off my shoulders and placed it on top of his. I turned and I noticed his glasses were still not on, he had left them down stairs. He held out a hand to me and I took it, letting him help me into the shower.
"How much can you see without your glasses?" I asked him as he adjusted the water temperature and I kept well back at the other end.
"I'm short-sighted. I have no problems with things up close, but I struggle with things further away," he said and began soaping and rinsing off his body. I was unashamedly watching him now and he knew it, but it just seemed normal and I was once again struck with how far I have come with them.
