I hope you're all ok with this one.

It was pretty hard writing it and I hope it works.

Part Seventy-Five

Sang's POV

"Absolutely no fucking way!" North shouted, slamming his hand down onto the table.

"No, no, no!" Luke shook his head folding his arms. "I'm with North on this one."

"So am I!" Silas interjected. "Not a chance, Aggele Mou, no way!"

I sighed rubbing at my forehead with my fingers. We were sitting around the table in Mr Blackbourne's dining room. I had told them the plan to catch Volto.

"This is why! This is exactly why I didn't want her anywhere near the Academy!" Kota snapped at Mr Blackbourne.

"You brought her in!" Dr Green reminded him. "We don't like it anymore than you do but what..."

"You must be out of your fucking mind," Gabriel was glaring at me shaking his head. "We are not letting you get anywhere near that motherfucker, Trouble!"

"It's not a good plan, Princess." Victor was worried, his eyes were blazing at me.

"A good plan?" Nathan spluttered, "It's not a fucking plan at all! It's a string of words that make no sense at all, let alone a fucking plan."

"We may as well just send her out with a bow around her neck and tell him he can have her!" Luke cried out and folded his arms.

"We have very little choice," I tried to speak up, to make my voice as firm and adamant as they sounded, but I didn't carry it off. "There's not much we can..."

"Of course we have a choice!" Kota interrupted me. "Sending you out to the slaughter is not one of them!"

"I don't think he means...."

"Oh for fuck's sake, "Gabriel shook his head and thrust his hand towards Mr Blackbourne. "Tell her, Mr B, tell her she's being stupid."

His words stung and I frowned at him. Did they really think I was stupid?

"I'm not being stupid...."

"I don't mean stupid like that!" Gabriel sighed, shaking his head. "You can't expect us to sit back and let you do something dangerous!"

"You can't possibly think that we would let you put yourself in danger!" Victor snapped, the fire in his eyes close to a raging furnace now. "You won't be doing anything at all."

"We won't let you!" North boomed. "From now on you go nowhere on your own. Someone has to be with her at all times." He looked at Silas who was nodding.

"We can work out some sort of schedule," Kota was saying and North sat forward, agreeing with him.

"We'll need to work out who's where and when," Luke added.

I bit my lip, looking at Mr Blackbourne, but he was sitting there quietly, his hands clasped in front of him on the table, his eyes on the them as they started to organise a schedule to babysit me. Dr Green was sitting beside him, his eyes on where he was spinning one of the coasters on its point.

I looked back at the others and cleared my throat. I would not be able to shout them down, there was a good chance I wouldn't even get to the end without my voice breaking but I had to do something.

"I'm sorry," I said and clasping my fingers together. "I seemed to have made a mistake."

"Don't worry, Peanut, we'll sort it all out...." Nathan spoke but I shook my head at him.
