Sang's POV
I sat at the table picking at the toast that lay on the plate in front of me. Silas was opposite me, eating cereal and reading the front of a newspaper he had picked up from the front door. I could hear Charlie moving around in the bathroom further in the apartment. I had felt awkward when we had emerged from Silas room. I felt as if his father knew what we had been doing, but if he had he gave no indication. Instead when he had first come out of his room to the kitchen, he had looked tired still, but not surprised to see me. He had apologised for having to drag Silas and me out to look for Theo and then he had thanked me, before disappearing back into the bathroom.
Silas set the newspaper down on the table beside him, eyeing the toast on my plate, and shook his head.
"You have to eat more than that, Aggele," he said with a frown.
"I'm not as big as you are, Silas," I told him. I had already eaten two slices, but he had made eight, given me three and taken five for himself, he had tried to give me a bowl of cereal as well, but that had been too much for me.
"I know," he said with a grin. "But two slices of toast is not going to hold you out till lunch."
"I had two meals last night," I reminded him.
There was a knock at the door and then it was opening and I looked over in surprise.
"Hey, Si!" North's voice boomed out before I could even see him. "Where's Sang B... Sang?"
I sighed as his words reminded me that I would be unable to do anything except acknowledge his presence.
"Hello, North," I called and then saw him, Luke and Kota come around the corner. Behind them was Owen and Sean and I blinked in surprise at seeing them.
"Hello," I said quietly to all of them.
"Hey, Sang," Sean winked at me and then looked at Silas. "In his room?" he asked and Silas nodded.
"Owen, Sean, thank you for coming over," Charlie appeared and I could see he had showered and shaved. "He's in his room."
I saw the three of them disappear and I was surrounded by Luke, North and Kota as they quickly kissed me good morning. I was happy again.
"You should have called us, bro," North said, picking up the paper and leaning his hip against the counter beside me.
"Are you going to eat that?" Luke asked and when I shook my head he picked up the last slice and kissed me quickly before starting to eat it.
"Luke!" North said loudly. "You can't take her breakfast!"
"He didn't," I told him softly. "I've finished."
"Was Theo ok?" Kota asked.
"He didn't go far," Silas said nodding and yawning at the same time.
"But he kept you up!" Gabriel observed and I saw Silas shake his head and then he was looking at me, a smirk on his face. I blushed, looking down hurriedly to clear up the now empty plates.
"Are you ready for school?" Kota asked Silas. I looked around and my eye was caught by Gabriel, but he was looking between North and Silas, his face was closed of all emotion and it confused me. I looked around at Silas but he was looking at North. I looked up at North and he turned to look at me and I realised they had been doing one of their silent conversations and I think I know what they had been saying.
"Well, are you?" Kota spoke up again. "Come on guys, we'll be late. Sang, Mr B and the Doc are going to take you back home with them, ok?"
I nodded getting up from the chair to get my coat, hat and scarf from Silas bedroom. I went into the room and I heard the door close behind me. I looked around in surprise but it was Silas, picking up his own stuff.
