Ok, this is well... read it and I hope you don't hate me or that I really, really disappoint you all....
Mr Blackbourne's POV
I was not happy with walking out. I paced back and forth. Dr Roberts had said he'd be back in a minute and walked off. I was one second away from going back into the that room. I waited till he rounded the corner and stepped towards the door.
"Owen! Everything ok?" I hesitated, looking back at where Sean came towards me. "Why are we all out here?" he asked with a frown, looking around at the rest of us.
"Her father is in there..." Kota started just as the door was flung open.
"She can't breathe! She can't breathe! Do something!" Sorenson came rushing out, his eyes looked wild and he was obviously terrified, but Sean shoved him to one side and was pushing into the room.
Fear slid through me as I hurried after Sean, aware of the others all pushing to get into her room as well. Sean was instantly on her, taking the oxygen mask from behind her bed and trying to place it over her face, but she was fighting him. Kota caught her hands and then a nurse was coming in and Sean snapped out instructions to her, making her leave the room quickly to fetch what he asked for. Sean was trying to get her to listen to him, she looked terrified as she fought to breath. I snapped at the others to stay back and give him room to work, but I was as terrified as they were. A movement caught my eye and I saw her father move towards the window, he looked shocked, his eyes on Sang as she fought to breathe.
I crossed to him quickly and gripped his upper arm in a tight grip. I saw North look over, but then his eyes were back on where Sean was beginning to get her to slow her breathing out. She was responding to him, her eyes locked on his face as he all but knelt over her as he held her head, getting her to copy his breathing. She was responding, he had saved her and that was all that mattered.
I looked at her father, he looked as if he was going into shock, but that was inexcusable. There could be only one reason she was like she was and he was it! I dragged him towards the door and shoved him through it so hard he fell to his knees. I saw Silas step up but I held my hand up to him to stop him from coming out.
Her father staggered to his feet and turned to glare at me.
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?" he grated and I held my temper in check, just.
"What did you do to her?" I demanded, Dr Roberts was coming down the corridor and I reached forward and gripped her father by the upper arm again and pushed him in the opposite direction. I had enough, but I didn't particularly want to deal with the doctor as well just yet.
"Owen, what's going on? Sean paged me!"
"Miss Sorenson," I told him without looking back as I shoved her father to keep moving. I turned the corner, found an empty room and shoved him inside slamming the door behind me.
"I didn't do anything!"He turned on me and I stepped back and sideways as he tried to lunge for me; he missed and crashed into the door. I turned to him and waited, but he merely stood up, rubbing his shoulder.
"What did you do?" I repeated myself, my anger was ice cold and sliding through every vein, I should never have left him with her. I should have told Dr Roberts that this man shouldn't even be within five miles of her. I let her down. Again.
"I was talking to her, that's all... She just couldn't breathe and the more she tried the worse it got. She told me she hated me." He seemed to slump slightly, but it didn't move me at all.
