I just wanted to let everyone know how much it means to me to know you are still sticking with me. And thanks to everyone who is new to this story and is reading. I think if it wasn't for your continued support I would most probably have given up on moving it here.
For those of you reading it again, some things may change slightly and I may add things here or there, but hopefully, the major change is removal of mistakes. :)
Part Thirty-Nine
Sang's POV
A trip to the bathroom at lunch time made me realised that Dr Green was correct. And by the time Japanese came around, the tablets were wearing off.
Dr Green held us back at the end of class and waited for everyone to leave before he came over to us.
"Wearing off?" he asked me and I nodded.
"It's still too soon to give you anything, but we'll get your sorted in a minute, ok?" He went back to his desk and scribbled something on a piece of paper and came back giving it to Victor.
"Have Gabe, or Nate, hand this over to Mrs French, please, Vic," he said as Victor took the note and read it.
"What do I tell them when they start to panic?"
"Just tell them Sang is with us and it's women's issues, ok?"
I saw comprehension dawn on Victor's face and he blushed slightly, then he looked quickly over his shoulder at the door, but it was empty. He turned back to me and kissed me quickly.
I smiled at him and he stroked a finger down my cheek and then turned away to his desk.
"I can sit out, Dr Green," I said watching Victor pick up his bag.
"And you're going too," Dr Green said and went to get his own bag. "So you may as well keep Owen and me company in the nurses room."
I smiled at him, knowing that I would prefer sitting in there to sitting in the gym.
I followed him to the nurses room, my bag over my shoulder and my violin case in my hand. He unlocked the door and opened it for me to go in.
He turned the sign on the outside from "Closed, Go to reception to ask for the Nurse" to "Knock and Wait".
"Make yourself comfy," he said and I crossed to one of the chairs.
"No, not there, hop onto a bed, Pookie," he said when he saw what I was doing. He opened his bag and brought out what looked like a square of material, much like a pillow but heavier looking and smaller.
He crossed to where there was a small microwave sat by the sink.
"Our good luck that this school can't afford to get a proper steriliser; they still use microwave."
I kicked off my shoes and climbed onto the bed, curling on my side to alleviate some of the cramping pain. I watched as he put the pad into the microwave and then started it. It was beeping when there was a knock on the door.
"Come in," he called out as he opened the microwave and took the pad out.
"Dr Green, I...." Tiffany came in and she was alone.
"Miss Thomas, how can I help?" he asked making no move to give me the pad. Tiffany saw me and then looked back at Dr Green, one of her eyes looked red and watery.
"I have something in my eye and it's bothering me," she said but she was not pleased to see me and I saw that easily.
"Sit down and I'll have a look in a moment," he said and his tone was very formal. He came towards me, blocking Tiffany's view of me with his back. He leant slightly and slid the pad over where the pain was centred.
