Bit of a long one and it's ended mid scene as I don't want to rush the next part. ;)
I will be working towards the boys, slowly, like everything else, Nathan is up next, Silas will be making good on his promise. I'm trying to work a little time in with Kota but it's hard. And Luke, and Gabriel, I don't want their time together to be just hot and heavy, I want them spending quality time together, but that takes me agessss. Sorry.
Hope you all like this one.
Part Sixty Four
Sang's POV
"You're not going to get me to pull out bolts or knives again are you?" I asked Dr Green as we made our way down through the hospital corridors.
It was Sunday and he had the day shift. I couldn't stay with Mr Blackbourne as he had been called out quite early, no one actually said why but I imagined it was Academy business. The rest of them were either working or had to go home, which meant Dr Green was babysitting me today. Not that I minded. In fact I loved watching him work and he did look hot in his white coat with the stethoscope around his neck.
"Would you like too?" he asked me with a chuckle, holding open a door for me. I went through, looking up at him.
"No, can we look at the babies?" I asked and he grinned.
"We will look at the babies later, Pookie, for now though I have paperwork to catch up on which is boring but essential. So I'm afraid you're going to have sit, look pretty and watch me type with two fingers."
I very much doubted that Dr Green was a two finger typist, I had seen Mr Blackbourne type and I doubted that he would have let Dr Green get away with it.
He opened an unmarked door and after switching on the lights he indicated for me to go ahead of him. His office, if it was his, was small, with two filing cabinets, a desk with two chairs either side of it, a computer that looked state of the art and a fan that sat on top of the filing cabinet. There were no windows and no pictures or posters on the wall. On top of the other cabinet was a large DNA molecular structure and a plant that looked like it needed water.
"Is this yours?" I asked him as I settled into the chair. It was one of those gas lifted chairs that spun round and round.
"Not really, I share it with most of the doctors here, except the top doctors who have offices on the top floor. They have floor to ceiling windows on two walls," he sighed as he sat, smoothing his tie down.
"Is that what you aspire to? Floor to ceiling windows?" I asked him with a grin and he chuckled as he powered up his computer.
"I aspire to help people, now hush, or I'll get this wrong. Go play with my DNA strand over there. I made it in college and it's pretty tough to get back together. I challenge you."
I needed no further asking and I slid from the chair and reached it down and took it back to the desk. I discovered it was in fact, a puzzle that came apart easily into pieces and then had to be put together, it was harder than it looked.
I was beginning to think I had gone wrong in the bottom when I couldn't get the last third to fit together at all. I squinted at it and turned it upside down and pulled it apart, ready to try again.
There was knock at the door and then it opened, but I couldn't see who was there because it wasn't opened all the way.
"Hey Dr Sexy," purred a voice that made me almost drop the lot onto the floor. I looked up at him but he was looking over at the door, his face was a mask of surprise which quickly melt into his normal friendly face.
