Jenna was next to Loki at the end of her bed, she had wrapped her arms around him to soothe his crying and pain, but nothing could take away the pain. Thor had also stayed put in the room, he didn't dare leave. Jenna had a guard call for Odin, he would be there soon.

The three of them looked over to the door, Odin was frozen in the doorway. He slowly moved towards Frigga's lifeless body, a tear ran down his eye but he swiftly wiped it away. Kneeling down beside her he placed a hand to her cheek and gently kissed her forehead.

"We must give her a send off immediately," Odin started, "Jenna, I wish for you to inform the kingdom of their Queen's passing and that the funeral will be this evening." Jenna felt honoured that Odin trusted her with something so important.
"Yes your majesty, I will go down to the village immediately." Jenna got up to leave but Loki held tightly onto her hand,
"I'll be as quick as I can love" she reassured him before rushing out of the door to the village to greet the Asgardians with news of the terrible tragedy.

"Sons, where are the elves now?" Odin was quiet but filled with rage,
"They perished Father, I finished the last two off with Mjölnir as they left the room, Malekith can't do anything without an army. Loki and I took them all down out of rage, they shall not return ever."
"Well done Thor, you have defended the whole of Asgard today, even in grief." Odin praised, not even bothering to acknowledge Loki's involvement.

Jenna was now on the stage in the village centre. The stage was used for plays, the royal family loved the ones that were performed, especially Frigga.
"Good day Asgardians" Jenna shouted to get everyone's attention, "I am here today to inform you all of some devastating news, earlier today we lost a member of our valued realm. Queen Frigga lost her life to the dark elves, thankfully they all perished and shall not return. Her death will forever be honoured as she gave her life so we could continue ours. We shall be holding her funeral tonight so please keep her in your thoughts as we prepare to give Frigga the send off she deserves. Thank you." Jenna nodded her head and made her way back to the castle, diverting to the gardens for some calm before the storm.

She went to her Dahlias. Frigga was the one to help her plant them, she loved the gardens. The memory made Jenna tear up, it also made her regret the arguments they both had. She sniffled away the pain and kept a brave face.

*later that day*

It was now the evening. Jenna was stood in her wardrobe trying to find a dress. Loki had entered her room without her knowing,
"Looking for a dress dear? Traditionally black is not worn to an Asgardian funeral, colour is instead, we look for the light in the darkest of times. Why don't you wear green, it will match my armour, as we are significant others."
"I shall Loki, how is Odin?"
"I haven't seen him since the nurses came for Frigga's body."
"Oh my goodness! Jane! I never finished the extraction!"
"Its okay, I finished it while you were in the village. Jane is alive and well, she will accompany Thor to the funeral then she will make her way back to Midgard straight after."

Jenna and Loki met the rest of Asgard at the end of the bridge. Thor and Jane stood to the right of Odin whilst Loki and Jenna were to the left. Frigga's body was in a boat, she was surrounded by flowers and silk netting was draped over her. The sword she used in battle was laid upon her.

"Queen Frigga was valued by everyone here on Asgard, tonight we shall honour her and treasure her memory forever. Goodbye my love." Odin made a short speech as he nodded to Jenna who used her magic to push the boat out over the river. As it flew sailed over the edge of Asgard it burst into light. Golden sparkles filled the sky.

Each Asgardian had a lantern, they were lifted into the air one by one. Everyone looked up to them, mesmerised by the picturesque scene infront of them.

"Gone, but never forgotten." Jenna whispered to Loki as she wiped a tear from his eye.
