*Titan*

Now feeling better than ever after his fight with his daughter, Thanos was not surprised at her decision. He got word of it from Ebony who was still watching over her, he wanted to make her life as much of a misery as possible. Thanos entered the hut and dug through the large box of junk that was inside. Right at the bottom he found his infinity gauntlet, it was at the bottom because he knew Jenna would take forever to find the stones again.

He lodged the gauntlet onto his hand, smirking at the power he could have,
"Fine, I'll do it myself" he sneered. His children outside,
"I see you have given up on the failure" Ebony hissed,
"She was worthless anyway, she is one of the few that understands what all the stones could do if used together. She wasn't a failure until she met that God, she gave her humanity, then she met the other God, he gave her love. Now she actually has something to lose." Thanos was angry at Jenna, which motivated him more.

He wanted to hurt her, physically, but more important, emotionally.

*New York*

Jenna had actually managed to drag Loki away from a book. She was dressed slightly differently today, in blue jeans, a small black top and one of Wanda's jackets she had been sowing. Wanda would go to local stores and buy all the bits of scrap fabric, then she would sow them all together, making jackets, tops and trousers. She was very talented.
Contrasting to Jenna's colour, Loki was in a shirt and tie, with brown trousers. They were only going out around New York but Loki dressed for the looks, not the practicality.

"Where exactly are we going Jen?"
"Just wait and see."

She led him to the park, he would rather be alone than near the public. Central park was beautiful anyway,
"Would you ever want to move away from the compound?" Loki asked once they were sat down,
"Like back to Asgard?"
"Not necessarily, just away from everyone, away from the missions, and constant threat."
"Maybe, not for a couple of years though, we can stay on Midgard, just move somewhere else. I just wish we could take those we love with us. The avengers, even some of the Asgardians" they both laughed, deeply missing Asgard.

Neither of them had realised how dark it had gotten, now they were stargazing.
"Jen look," Loki pointed up to the sky at a cluster of stars, "the nine realms" he sounded teary almost, homesick.
"I miss Asgard"
"I think Thor does too, only Father is there now, I feel a very small bit of remorse for leaving him right after Mother's death."

They continued to sit there for hours, until Loki picked something out of his pocket. It was a black dagger with a golden handle, and another that was gold with a black handle. Loki passed Jenna the black dagger, it had his initials engraved into it, whereas the other had Jenna's engraved into it.
"Love is a dagger..."
"Oh not this again Loki" she laughed, he loved that metaphor and was low-key proud that he made it up on the spot,
"Now, when we are apart, we will always carry a piece of each other, even if it's a dagger engraved with each other's initials"
"Loki, this is the best gift you have ever given me"
"It's the only one I have ever given you"
"That's why its the best."

They stayed in each other's company for ages, until it was almost nine in the evening,
"I think we should head back, I'm training Wanda again tomorrow"

They walked home, hand in hand, utterly in love.
