                                       Nats POV

We did make it downstairs for dinner... eventually.

We were both completely content staying in each other's arms for as long as possible.

But Spencers stomach is another story. It has a mind of its own and it's usually always hungry. And she definitely needed some food.. let's just say she had a full work out. She knows what she's doing, and I'm still riding that high.

But we need to eat something besides each other. So for food, we got out of bed.

Spencer remembered that Wanda would be the one making something for dinner and she couldn't wait to try it. I didn't really like how excited she was for her cooking.

Since we teleported, we made it just in time to grab some food.

She passes me a plate as she starts to dish it up. "Oh, um.. I kind of promised Morgan I'd sit by her." Spencer tells me, with a small cringe, maybe worried I'd be upset.

"Okay, go sit next to her. You have two sides," I give her a small nudge with my shoulder.

"Thanks love." She kisses my cheek as she takes my plate.

"I'll grab the drinks," I tell her as I start walking to the fridge.

"Okay, love. I'll save your seat."

What a dork. I open the door to the fridge to look for something for Spencer and I.

Before I'm able to grab anything, Tony is by my side.

       "Hi Tony."

       "Hey Nat."

       "Can I help you?"

"Just wanted to let you know that Morgan hasn't stopped talking about her day with Spencer. For the last two hours I have gotten all of the details on how it went. And I don't doubt Pepper will hear it all once she gets here."

"Is that a bad thing, or..?"

"Not even close. She's obsessed. And I'm sure Spencer won't tell you because she won't talk about how well she did. Spencer created a puppy they played with outside. For hours. They made up some crazy, gross sounding burgers that Morgan thought were the greatest thing. They watched Moana until Morgan fell asleep on her. She even said that, when she woke up, Spencer was watching a different movie. So Spencer stayed there for hours so Morgan could sleep. Then they played pirate princess where Spencer helped her find her stolen treasure. That's when we found them. They were signing a treaty. A treaty, Nat."

         Damn.

"Spencer.. Spencer is a keeper. I don't know how she does it. How she stays so positive and.. good. But she has. She has such a good heart. You two are so good for each other and I'm so happy for you. And as a bonus, my daughter loves her. So, if you were worried about having kids with her, I wouldn't be," he winks at me before walking away.

I've been smiling this whole time. My cheeks hurt but there's no way I'm going to stop. I grab myself a beer and Spencer a water before turning to see her in a lively conversation with Morgan.

Spencer has her in fits of laughter, making crazy faces in between bites of food.

       I laugh at her too.

This girl.. damn it. She is the best thing that has ever happened to me. She has filled my heart with so much happiness. I am so lucky I get to see her be this person, the person she was meant to be.
