Nats POV
After we made it back home from the picnic, we had gone back to their place to watch a movie. No complaints here, I'll take any time I can with Spencer. Which I think she knows and has been taking advantage of.
It's weird that Yelena doesn't seem to mind, right? Yeah, it's weird.
Anyway, we go to pick out a movie and I am only too eager to sit next to her when she offers me the spot.
"You know Spencer, I don't think Nat has ever seen Shrek." She wiggles her eyebrows at Spencer so I give her a weird look.
"Shrek? What the hell is Shrek?"
"Ugh, you sisters really need to watch more movies," she says as she gets up from her spot. I immediately notice the cold.
"Hey! I've been doing a lot better, thank you."
"Yes. And once again, what would you do without me?" She has a playful tone to her words but she's focused looking at her movie collection, which I now realize is rather extensive.
"I still have no idea." Yup, a tinge of jealousy goes through me and I hate it but I can't help it.
"Ah, here we go." She pulls out a dvd case and puts the dvd in to play. "You are in for a real treat. If you don't trust me, you can ask your sister," she tells me as she smiles, walking back to sit in between Yelena and I.
"I trust you," is all I can say. It's all I need to.
"Okay so, ground rules, we only talk if and when we want snacks."
I laugh at her but she's not joking? So I just kind of give her an 'are - you - serious' look.
"Dixie chicks serious, love," she deadpans.
I definitely feel my heart flutter at the nickname. She knows it too. "Alright then."
She loosens up a bit when she continues, "it's just a good movie and it's better when you let yourself enjoy it. Obviously I won't actually stop you form talking."
"How come you didn't give me that option?" Yelena narrows her eyes at Spencer.
Spencer just shrugs and nonchalantly says, "you had the option, I just didn't tell you." She plays the movie, making us all go quiet.

The movie is good. It's also adorable how into it she is. So I end up splitting my attention between her and the screen. Don't worry, I'm watching it!
I can tell it's important to her.
The movie ends and she turns off the tv, turning to me. I like having her attention. And the expectant look she's giving me makes me want to melt.
She wants to know what I think. "It was really good. It has a great balance of comedy and drama and love." I take a deep breath continuing. "I also really loved donkey. Is it bad I kind of want a talking donkey now?"
She laughs, which makes Yelena and I both laugh and my heart yearn for her that much more. "Not at all. I've wanted one since I first watched this. I'm still waiting to find one."
"Well if you do, I want shared custody," I tell her in all seriousness.
"You aren't going to get a fight from me. I think we may want some time away from it for a while anyway. But, I get to pick the name. Well, I guess unless he already has a name.."
