Spencers POV

After Nat and I had our moment, we joined everyone else and really got the party going.

I mean, can you picture all of the avengers drinking, singing and dancing around like idiots? Because it's a lot of fun, highly entertaining.

There were a few that I had heard of but hadn't quite met yet. The guardians are actually pretty cool. Well, the ones that could make it. I guess some of them had to be elsewhere. Turns out Rocket is a.. well I'm still not entirely sure. But the guy likes guns. And he was experimented on too.

Who would think I'd have so much in common with a raccoon.

Okay, he isn't a raccoon. Don't tell him I called him that.

Groot is a tree. Need I say more?

You can tell there were some egos that were battling in the room, but they seemed to put them aside for the night.

Loki, Yelena and I did our best to cause trouble.

And by that, I mean we got a little drunk, but not too drunk because, ya know, I wanted to remember the night.

And whatever Nat has planned for after this..

Anyway..

We quickly turned this into a karaoke night because why wouldn't we?

Everyone was having a blast, dragging their partner or friend up on stage to duet or quartet or whatever the hell they were doing.

Bucky and Steve did a duet and let me tell you.. it was so adorable. You can tell Bucky picked the song.

I have already been up there a few times with Yelena and even Wanda.

Melina and Alexei are here too. I guess Tony sent a jet over for them. But they haven't gotten up to sing, just enjoying the antics of everyone else, I think.

I am currently trying to get Nat to get up on stage with me.

"Love, please," I beg.

"Oh, I don't know. I think I've been enjoying you singing and dancing with everyone else," there's a tease to her tone and she's hiding the smirk trying to form.

Two can play this game, though.

"Okay. I'm sure I can find someone else to sing with me." I let the smirk show.

She narrows her eyes as I stand up, looking around the room for some very specific people.

I fully smile once I spot them. Out of the corner of my eye, I also see Nat follow my line of vision.

And I see her tense once she realizes who I was going for.

I don't even get three steps away before she grabs my arm, stopping me in my tracks.

"What the hell do you think you're doing?" She growls into my ear.

Time to play up on the innocence. "You weren't going to sing with me, so I was going to find someone who would." I even bat my eyelashes.

"And who were you going to ask?" She's trying to set me up.

"Oh, I was just going to ask around. I mean, some one would agree since it is my birthday.."

Her grip tightens around me. We both know I was about to ask Carol and Valkyrie. They may be together, but how they looked at me when I was dancing with Loki wasn't lost on either of us.
