       Nats POV

Enjoying a party like Spencer is.. interesting. People just kept feeding us drinks left and right. We danced with Yelena then played some pranks with Loki, even did some body shots.

Off of each other, of course.

Wanda got us singing. Okay there wasn't really much convincing. She just started playing a song and Spencer was sold.

Eventually Tony convinced us to play a wild game of, you guessed it, truth or drink.

Things were said that can not be unheard.

But for the first official night at our home.. it was wonderful.

Thankfully I can still hold my liquor a little better than Spencer.

      Poor girl.

I get why she's so bad the next day.

I mean, I'm not feeling great, but certainly better than Spencer.

That's why I am down in the kitchen attempting to make some chocolate chip pancakes and a smoothie for Spencer.

I didn't realize it had been so long since I really cooked or made anything.

As I'm struggling along, Wanda walks in the kitchen.

"Hey, Nat." She walks over to the fridge.

"Hey, Wanda." I'm still very focused on the food.

Then she's next to me. "You doing alright here?"

"I want to say yes but I feel like you can tell I'm not."

She laughs. "I mean, I wouldn't say it's that bad, but I am here if you need assistance."

I hate to do it but, "that would be great. I can't seem to flip them. And when I do, they're burnt."

"You just have to wait for it to bubble. And then it helps if you have a spatula." She pulls one out of the drawer and demonstrates how to do it.

     "Seems simple."

"It is, if you time it right.

Wanda worked her magic and was able to flip the next few pancakes as we talked. It had been a while since Wanda and I had really had the chance to talk. Especially with the weird thing between her and Spencer. Not that there really was a thing.. but whatever it was, it was weird.

Right? That wasn't just me, but it was odd? And it wasn't in my head?

Right. Thank you. Sometimes it's just nice to get an outsiders point of view.

So anyway, with all of that behind us, Wanda and I were able to have a nice conversation while she pretty much did the rest of the pancakes.

"Okay. Flip this one," she instructs.

"Oh, well maybe you should just do, I don't.."

"Nope. You're doing it. Come on Nat, you can hit a moving target with your eyes closed. You can flip a pancake."

Alright, fair enough. Of course she's right too.

     "Thanks, Wanda."

"You're welcome," she smiles and I know she's going to say something else, but I want to say something before she does.
