                                       Nats POV

Spencer places her hand on mine and Alias arms just as the crazy lady is about to go into another rant. One second she's there, and the next is when I can no longer see or hear her.

I adjust to my surroundings to see that..

We're in the common room.. at the compound?

      But.. I thought Spencer couldn't..

      Spencer.

      "Nooo!"

      I can't help it.

I fall to my knees as I hold our child who somehow still hasn't woken up.

I let the sobs take me. Not really knowing what I can do at this point. And that thought alone chills me to my bones.

      I don't know what happened. I don't know what's happening. I don't know what to do. I can't do anything.

But then, I'm being touched on the shoulder, dragging my thoughts to the person.

I look up and I'm met with Wandas concerned face.

     "Wanda!"

Yes. People are here. People that can fly to Spencer. People that can tear that bitch apart. People that can save her.

"Nat? Are you okay? What're you doing here?" She looks around. "And where is Spencer?"

"Spencers.. at our house. She's in trouble. She was shot. There's a crazy lady there talking a bunch of nonsense. You need to go save her!" I spew it all out as fast as I can.

Wandas eyes widen but she's no rookie to an emergency. She immediately calls for Tony to help since Tony can fly with his suit and for back up.

     He finally makes it here.

"Wanda, what's the big rush?" He's in his suit, only his face showing, because he knows it's something important, he just doesn't know what.

And then Tony sees me and his whole demeanor changes at the sight.

"Where's Spencer?" His voice is cold and firm, attempting not to let any emotion out, yet.

"At their house. She's in trouble. She needs us. It's about time we save her," Wanda tells him quickly.

Tony's helmet comes down and they're off, walking out the front door before flying into the sky and the short distance to our house.

I know Tony and Wanda can handle that psychotic bitch, but that doesn't stop the pain in my chest from welling up even more, almost stopping my breathing. The tears flow. Let them.

Soon enough there's a shadow in front of me. It's Steve, standing there looking concerned. likely brought out by all of the commotion.

"Nat? What's going on?" He whispers, conscious of the baby and my fragile state.

      I shake my head. I can't form words. I can't breath. I just.. can't.

"Okay, okay. Hold on. Let me take Alia, okay? Then I'll get Yelena to come for you. Alright?"

I nod my head because that's all I'm able to do.

And then I sit here in silence, alone. I only move to bring my knees to my chest, and let my entire demeanor come undone.
